The tour is tailored to one’s own interests so if you know what you want to see and do it will help the guide to focus on these areas to give you a better understanding of the gay district. Don’t be afraid to ask questions.

Even though it says it has one of the largest gay venues anywhere, unless you are willing to pay a lot of money, it feels like a whorehouse of prostitutes, if you’re into that you would probably love it a number of older men will not like that statement, it’s not love is sex for sale.
The other point, I have travelled around the world numerous times and this city personal I felt unsafe. It was filthy dirty, just didn’t get this city, would not be returning.

As a first-time visitor to Bogotá, I’m incredibly glad that I booked Juan to show me the neighborhood. He tailored the tour to my interests and gave me clear guideposts to find my way when I am on my own. Many places of interest are not marked and are easy for visitors to miss, so Juan was a valuable resource showing what lies beyond the surface. He’s good-humored and a great conversationalist, and I hope to book him for one of his other tours before I leave.

Juan's tour was an excellent introduction to the gay neighborhood and the gay history of Bogotá. From the start, he asked us what our expectations were and what we wanted to see. He has a very organized three part tour that he will customize to your liking. The tour was comprehensive and informative, all questions were answered. In addition, throughout the night options were presented to the group regarding what was seen. If you don't get the tour you want, I suspect it might be because you didn't let your expectations be known. Highly recommend!

This tour was amazing! Juan was so knowledgeable and kind. He has the whole tour planned out, but you can customize if there are certain types of bars/restaurants/scenes that you like. He knows everything! He answered all our questions and gave us tips. He even checked in with us via text to make sure we were enjoying our time at Theatron after he dropped us off there. Honestly, I never would have walked these streets alone, the tour makes it all possible and fun. It's good to have a good guide and Juan was exactly that! PS the restaurant scene in Bogota is amazing.

The guide was super flexible, in English, in tailoring the tour to my needs, especially given that it was a (very) small group. Interesting facts a plenty about the Bogota gay scene and really useful to have venues and shops etc pointed out we many of them are well hidden. We don’t stop at the venues but that’s not the point of this tour

I’ve done many tours with Viator that was top notch and this experience fell way below what I come to expect from Viator approved tours. The guide was bilingual but only would speak in one language, my friend speaks Spanish and I speak English, I do understand Spanish but the fact that he refused to repeat in English was a turn off. Also he took us in dark places that wasn’t open and spoke a long time in areas that was very shady. I recommend researching and decide which nightclub you want to attend.

I was meeting up with a nice man on a first date. We had a blast! The guide was very informative and never once flinched at any of our questions about LGBTQ+ issues and social topics. Even willing to explain words to people unfamiliar with the gay lifestyle.

It felt reassuring to meet Juan and do this tour when arriving Bogota to be shown around and get to know the area, especially in the evening and to know where is safe. Juan is very knowledgeable and also does other tours. Highly recommended. Thank you!
