Itinerary
On a paragliding tandem flight you will fly together with your private pilot from the top of the Jakobshorn Mountain to Davos. There’s a hight difference of 1’000 meters and the airtime is 15 to 35 minutes. For each flight we reserver 2 hours time over all. You won’t need any special skills or extreme fitness.
1. You will meet our pilot at our booking office at the cable cars station in Davos Platz Switzerland.
2. You will take the cable cars with your pilot to the launch site. For the last part we will hike for about 10 to 20 minutes.
3. Your pilot will setup the glider and explain you the take off.
4. And now the great moment is there 3,2,1… go! Just a few steps and you will be airborne.
5. During the flight you will be sitting comfortable in front of your pilot. No engine noise, no free falling, just a smooth glide through the air.
6. If you keen fore more action, your pilot shows you how to steer the glider or you can do some freestyle maneuvers.
7. The landing is close to the meeting point with again with a few steps running.

Every part of this experience was amazing. Paragliding in Davos with Robert and Peter was an absolute dream and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Robert and Peter are quick to get us up and going. Their office is easy to find, next to the gondola. Parking was easy too. The ticket for the gondola was not included in the price of the paraglide, gopro videos and photos are $30 Swiss franc extra per person. The entre process include you helping to carry a heavy bag (approximate 30 pounds) to hike up to the the launch site. Make sure you are in tip-top physically shape, being strong and agile to do the 21 minute beautiful cliff side hike. All these efforts are extra bonuses to fly over the beautiful Davos city with lakes and mountains. The paragliding itself was merely approximately 15 minutes, but that all the time we had.

I owe Peter a review. On the get go, he explained to me what needed to be done for the ride to go smoothly
To be honest he does it out of interest than anything else
Getting a ride in his Tesla was an added bonus
All in all, paragliding with the Alps in view is something one has to do once in their lifetime

Flying with Robert and his team was very pleasant and welcoming. 🤗
They treated us wonderfully! I felt as if I was flying with a friend..
The flying was a breathtaking experience; being in the sky as if you're floating.. and the best part is that there is no deep falls or high drops for those who are overwhelmed by that feeling. It literally felt as if you're sitting comfortably whilst flying in the air with an amazing breeze and a glorious view. (And of course you can decide weather you want it to go faster etc)
I 1000% recommend coming to Joyride Paragliding to enjoy the full Paragliding experience.
This was my first time going and as someone who used to suffer from fear of hights I'm proud to say I'll definitely be coming back. 🙌

My wife and I are in Europe for our Anniversary. Saw Robert’s Paragliding on Trip Advisor. Thought somewhat daring yet fun for a couple of almost empty nesters. It always looked risky and dangerous when you see the gliders in the air, but I was super surprised by the peacefulness of the experience. Very beautiful, quiet and serene. Robert was very professional in his communication. Showed up on time, and was clear yet brief in his safety talks. The mild wind just picked you up like a kite and you ride it down the mountain. Great for any age as long as not too immature. My daring 11 and 13 yr olds would be game for sure. …only thing is the landing can be a bit rough. Uneven in thick grass. If you’re worried about your knees/hips type thing. This probably isn’t for you. Great time. Oh yeah… one last thing. If you find an earring in the landing zone. Email
