The most amazing and authentic experience! Kyle and his family were extremely welcoming and made the day very enjoyable. Don’t worry if you aren’t an experienced skier, these tours are suitable for all levels.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Everyone at Arctic Fox Expeditions goes above and beyond to make this experience fantastic. As an absolute beginner I was prepared for impatience or hurry to finish my tour but instead I experienced patience, kindness, fabulous conversation and knowledge. Kyle is fantastic and I’m officially starting my campaign to get Janna canonized. Just a lovely tour with beautiful sights, unbelievable experience, and fantastic people. I couldn’t suggest this group more.

This experience was absolutely amazing. I would 💯 recommend everyone to give this a try. Even if you are a novice skiver the skills are simple and well explained by Kyle of how to master what is required. Kyle himself is an absolute gem very knowledgeable, funny but still balancing this of being professional. This company though is also a very family approach I met a number of family members during this tour this made the experience even better and they were all so welcoming and pleased to see us all and happy to chat with us. Thanks again Kyle and the family.

We got to know Kyle in the hotel, where we stayed and ended up having two fantastic days skiing together. It was the first time for us to do this kind of skiing and we got completely hooked up with it – thanks to Kyle. He not only lives for skiing but also for his family and his new home-country. So that in addition to skiing we got a ton of additional advice (including the best lunch place in Rovaniemi), an extra tour to a tower to look over the town and area around as well as very good, interesting, and warm conversations. We were really amazed by the full variety of Lapland landscape on your territory from forest, via swamp to the open lake. In addition, we got very good sausages grilled over the open fire in the typical local style. It was very interesting to get to know Finnish and local history based on your family’s one spanning the last 300 years. It was so good sharing ideas and exchanging experiences. We keep our fingers crossed that you can set-up the tours you have in mind. We are really looking forward seeing all your plans come true and do more skiing together. Clearly one of the absolute highlights of our holiday!

If your going to pick a day ski trip in Finland this is the one to choose! Kyle is a superb guide and knowledgeable about all things outdoors and especially snow sports. His enthusiasm for the sport and desire to share his time and experience is exceptional. I spent my last day on holiday on his guided ski adventure and had the best day ever. Me and a friend took this tour and it was a really enjoyable and tranquil experience. Kyle is a friendly and very knowledgeable guide and knows the area like the back of his hand (having created the trails). He kept us well entertained and was very hospitable. Highly recommended.

Kyle's guided ski adventure is a unique experience. A gentle, quiet "ski-walk" through an enchanted, Narnia-esque set of trails which meander through a vast area of pristine woodland near lake Norvajarvi. Along the trails Kyle takes time to talk to about the area, it's wildlife and gives you fascinating insights into Finnish history. Kyle has planned stops where you can enjoy a warning drink and taste local food and the trip ends with a walk onto a wonderful frozen lake with a final rest around a cosy fire. Neither my wife or I had done ski trekking before, but had no problem picking this up. In Rovaniemi it's easy there are a huge number of activities on offer, from husky/reindeer rides to skimobiles, to Aurora hunting trips and sometimes it's hard to find those a little more individual and unique. This is one you shouldn't miss!

Incredible experience and can’t recommend Arctic Fox Expeditions enough. Kyle’s knowledge, passion and kindness made all the difference to this adventure. Experiencing the ski adventure through the different landscapes of the forest and the frozen lake was an experience I’ll never forget

Amazing experience. Kyle was the nicest and kindest person, he was very attentive, considerate, and professional. This experience felt very authentic and was one of the most remarkable activities we did in our trip. Would definitely recommend this for everyone who is looking to do something special in Lapland.
