An absolute must do if you've time. Now, keep in mind one can't control the weather. It was cloudy and misting when we visited Kīlauea but we still got some good pictures. Due to seismic activity, we were unable to drive Chain of Craters Road. (I was really hoping for an eruption!) As the day progressed the weather got better, as is usually the case on the windward side. ʻAkaka Falls, Rainbow Falls, Thurston Lava Tube and many other sites were on the tour. Our tour guide, Dexter, grew up on the island and I truly believe he knew every plant, animal and sight on the island. We really enjoyed our tour that much more with him guiding us. Kudos to Polynesian Adventure for finding Dexter!
