The day starts in Rome where you’ll catch a high-speed train to Salerno with your group of travelers and a tour leader.

From there, hop on a ferry ride that takes you along the stunning Amalfi Coast.

Board a ferry and travel down the crystal blue waters of the Amalfi Coast to the beautiful town of Amalfi. Here you’ll head up one of those cliffs to a family-run lemon orchard with stunning views of the sea. After a walk through the lemon trees with only your Walks tour group, you’ll enjoy a tasting of homemade limoncello. Following the tasting you’ll have 30 minutes to explore the town and, if you enjoyed what you tried, buy some limoncello to take home.

Board your next ferry for another boat ride down the picturesque Amalfi Coast to Positano. This small fishing town has long been the holiday destination of choice for VIPs—from the Romantic poets of the 19th century to today’s Hollywood stars. After an orientation walk with your guide you’ll have two hours of free time in which you can browse the boutiques filled with world-famous beachwear, have leather sandals made to fit your feet and/or enjoy a relaxing lunch of local delicacies at a seaside cafe. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit too—there’s nothing nicer on a summer’s day than a dip in the sea.

After you've gotten to know Positano, head back on the boat for a return cruise to Salerno where you’ll catch the train back to Rome.

Finish your trip with a train ride back to Rome.

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate guests with mobility impairments, wheelchairs or strollers on this tour.
In order to reach the lemon farm, guests must walk approx. 200 steps. You may opt for free time on your own on the Amalfi Coast instead.
In the case of heavy rain, the limoncello tasting will be in the town of Amalfi instead of the farm.
Please note: In the rare event of rough seas where it is impossible to travel by ferry, we will provide a private bus to take you up and down the coast so you won't miss a thing!

Of Italy! Federico made this experience one we will never forget. He has a true love of sharing the culture and made this experience perfect! We loved this so much and our guide JP was top notch. Every aspect of this tour was a gift to the senses. The beauty of the Amalfi coast cannot be overstated and it was such an easy trip from Rome down to Salerno. The boats were not fancy, but completely adequate and comfortable. So many great picture moments. We had an excellent lunch at the Rada restaurant in Positano (recommended by our guide JP), with new friends we met on the tour.

We enjoyed it greatly. Federico and fabio were very good and made it an enjoyable experience. I loved amalfi. Positano was also nice although the boat dock crowd was crazy. Federico kept us on track and got us through it though.

John Paul was a great guide. He gave history, recommendations, info about the Amalfi coast and lenon farm we visited and he took care of all details. He led guided tour time and also allowed flexible free time, was clear with meeting details and created a fabulous day for my daughter and I! Had a great time.

This was a great way to see Positano and Amalfi in a single day. We had just enough time at each and the Limoncello tasting was awesome. Our trip was changed to a van (instead of boats) due to the windy weather and I honestly think that it was a better experience. Our guide JP had great recommendations and was very thoughtful in his approach. Great time!

This was an AMAZING tour!!! Federico was one of the best tour guides I have ever had… combined with the fact that we had an unbelievably cohesive group!! The tour literally ended with everyone feeling like family or like we had been friends for years!! (And the group can really Make a tour!!)

Great train ride to and fro Salerno. Amalfi coast scenery by boat is breathtaking together with fantastic weather and calm sea.
Our guide Roberta was *****. Cheerful, great leader, knowlegeable, went beyond our expectations
