This is a typical itinerary for this product
Pass By: Cusco, Cusco, Cusco Region
At 4:30 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you by van to the Ollantaytambo train station for 1 hour and 30 minutes, where you will board the train to Machu Picchu.
(You need to be ready 20 minutes before the van departs).
Stop At: Ollantaytambo, Ollantaytambo, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
We will travel by train to Machu Picchu town or Aguas Calientes (the village has two names) between 06:40 am and 7:20 a.m. and enjoy the landscapes surrounding the entrance.
(We need to be there 30 minutes before the train departs).
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Hot Springs (Aguas Calientes), Avenida Hermanos Aya, Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu 08681 Peru
Upon arrival in Machu Picchu town, our transfer will wait for us to get directions, and then we will take the bus to the Inca citadel. At the end of the excursion in this place, we can also enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.
Note 1: once we arrive at the village, we take the bus for 30 minutes to the citadel.
Note 2: After visiting Machu Picchu's citadel, you return to Aguas Calientes town, where you have one hour extra to enjoy lunch.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru
On arrival at Machu Picchu, you'll board a bus to the citadel for 30 minutes and a two-hour walking tour that explores ancient stairways, delicate carvings, and spectacular views. Afterward, enjoy some independent time to snap pictures or relax, finishing the day with the beautiful return journey to Cusco.

Ruben was an amazing host and tour guide. The excitement he shared with our group almost seemed as though he was also experiencing Machu Picchu for the first time along with us. The culture and history he shared was eye opening about the Incan culture and this amazing site. This will not be the last time I visit this amazing country.

Ruben was an amazing guide. He passionately shared his amazing Inka culture, history, food and he performed a sweet Inka ceremony. We've enjoyed his time, efforts and ability to teach us about Machu Pichu, his wonderful people and his life. He seems like a wonderful young man who will go places in life. Our guide Ruben was very knowledgeable, nice, personable and all around great guide. He kept us moving through Mach Picchu without feeling rushed. He was an excellent photographer knowing how to best position to take advantage of the best views.
Cosmo tours provided an all around amazing experience with impeccable timing. It was a long day making the round trip from Cusco to Machu Picchu and back. Our 4:40am pick up was right on time. Our 6:10 drop at Inca Rail was perfect. This continued throughout the day until our final drop off back to our hotel a few minutes earlier than expected.
Great trip! Many thanks to Cosmo for putting it together and Ruben for an all around great experience.

I can’t believe how lucky I was to find Ruben.. A very knowledgeable, nice and patient tour guide that knew Seemingly all the history of Macchu Picchu. He was very patient with our group and took more than enough time to explain everything to everyone ( in two languages) A very impressive person who I will come back and see if if I ever return. Thank you!!!

Visiting one of the 7 wonders of the modern world almost requires the guides of Incan blood. Ruben and Jorge are passion of their heritage and move up and down the mountain like a couple of Llamas. Great knowledge of Machu Picchu and the region as a whole.
