A comprehensive and complete tour of the monuments. Tyrone the guide was extremely helpful and answered all the questions. The tour bus had plenty of water and the driver was punctual and helpful.

We could not hear the Tour Guide because he walked ahead of the group at every stop. He spoke only to the handful of people who were first off the bus and everyone else was left behind.

My wife (61), daughter (38), son (35) and I (67) really enjoyed the expert commentary of David Herb and the professionalism and driving of Chris during our 10:00am - 4:30pm tour of Wash DC on Mon May 13, 2024.
Many of the facts David shared about the many buildings, monuments, and leaders made us more knowledgeable about several chapters of American history. Mr. Herb brought to light many historical facts not taught in the curricula of the many schools and universities we each attended.
Also, the insights and supplemental quotations from The National Archives David shared with everyone on the tour aligned with much of the wisdom in the quotations carved into stone at the Lincoln, the Roosevelt, and the MLK, Jr. monuments.

The amount of sights we got to see was pretty great for the price of the tickets. We simply would not have seen as much during our short stay had we not taken the tour. Chris was an excellent driver and did not at any point startle us navigating downtown DC traffic. He even went out of his way to ensure we had an umbrella to borrow since the weather wasn’t great.
Negatives on the experience would include trying to do too much on the time allotted. We were speed walking through some of the attractions which was disappointing, but I also understand traffic in DC is kind of a wildcard. Chris even got us tickets (for the following day) when we couldn’t logistically make our time for entering the Washington Monument. While not ideal he did what he could there. James while an excellent guide overall repeats himself quite a bit. While safety stuff I get (i.e. slippery surfaces at monument, not looking when taking pics etc.) as people are dense and don’t pay attention, we literally had the same story about one of the monuments or something told to us four times. Minor but it was noticeable. I almost wonder if eliminating one of the stops might have made the pacing more reasonable.
Overall we are happy though and enjoyed ourselves and would recommend to others.
