The tour was very informative and interesting to hear about the efforts to repair and preserve the lesser known islands and area northwest of the main islands. The foot soak was refreshingly cold but a little explanation on how to slowly get used to the cold water temperatures would have made it more enjoyable. We only lasted 15 of the 20mins having to take our feet out of the water at regular intervals. Only shortly thereafter did the tour guide explain how to start with your ankles…

We went on the salt farm tour out of curiosity. The women that guided the tour was very knowledgeable about the working of the farm and the history surrounding the area and the Hawaiian islands . It was fascinating. We opted to do the 20 minute foot soak , using salt water pumped from 2000feet deep in the ocean . What an experience! Water from those depth are between 42-45 degrees. Afterwards sampling if the varies salts on fruit and vegetables was a fun and interesting experience also !

We went thought the salt tour but could not do the foot soak because it was already full. So we came back two days later. It was so worth it!

Cold...Brrr... but relaxing experience. Pair it with the tour of the facility for an informative, tasty (oh so many salts to try) and a good for you magnesium foot soak. I highly recommend this combo on a day when you need to unwind a little! The staff is friendly and the experience great.

What a wonderful experience. Water is super cold but so refreshing. A great way to relax after taking the harvesting tour. Highly recommend for those who are not faint of heart with very cold water. Also very good for your skin as it leaves it smoother

We were very impressed with the Farm Tour and opted IN for the foot soak. Even Mom (92) found it invigorating and fun with the family. The circulating water from the deep 2,500 feet currents takes about 900 years to work its way from Greenland’s glaciers to Hawaii. Thank you IPO for your great history lesson. All ages would enjoy this.

Interesting look into a wonderful small business. The tour included a lot of history of the area and the deep water foot soak was very relaxing. The water is very cold so be prepared.

Fun, refreshing experience. We were greeted by a host and had a tray of fresh pineapple, cucumber and tomato provided for salt tasting. Salts were unique and delicious, and available for purchase. Hoped to add the salt farm Tour but didn’t have a reservation and they were fully booked. We did, fortunately, have a reservation for the foot soak. The setting is lovely, ocean within view. The Salt Farm is in an industrial area near tte airport but don’t be put off. Their beautiful venue hosts beachfront weddings and events. The soak area is a short walk from the parking. They provide a cooling towel, mineral water for drinking, and natural magnesium water for taking or adding to your soaking tub. Water is cold (48-deg) and it is hard to consistently soak, but we were all glad we did it, as we felt the benefits for several days. Wish we could have taken the experience home with us. Reasonable price, and lovely experience. There was also a pretty beach park on the road there, within a short drive that was perfect for a picnic.
