Meet your friendly private guide and the driver at your central Shanghai hotel at your prefered time and travel to The Bund area to learn about Shanghai’s colonial history dating back to the 19th century.
Duration: 25 minutes
Stop At: Huangpu River, Headstreams from Dianshan Lake, Zhujiajiao Town, Qingpu District, Shanghai 201700 China
Board a sightseeing boat and take a seat in the VIP Class area for a 60-minute cruise on the Huangpu River to experience what's known as yè Shanghai, or beautiful Shanghai nights. Your VIP Class seats give you the best views of both sides of the river, so you can admire the colonial-era architecture of The Bund from 20th and 21st-century landmarks of Pudong, including the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jinmao Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, Shanghai Tower, and more.

Stop At: Former French Concession, Puxi Central, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200000 China
Following your cruise, continue your memorable night at the Din Tai Fung restaurant. Here, enjoy a delectable xiaolongbao soup dumpling dinner served with other local popular delicacies. Choose the dish base on your own dietary requests.
Your tour finishes with a transfer and drop-off back at your central hotel or other downtown area as per your requests.

The overall experience was excellent. The guide (Mason) was polite, friendly and takes care of us during the whole tour. Would highly recommend him as the guide to my family and friends if they are to visit Shanghai.

We had a wonderful tour with Lily! We enjoyed a river cruise where she pointed out all of the sites and explained relevant history. Then we went to a great dumpling restaurant and she showed us the local technique for eating soup dumplings - yum! I would recommend this tour!

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough - we were in shanghai for only a week so trying to fit in everything we could to make it memorable. I only wish I had booked this dinner tour on the first night as it would have been such a fantastic opening to the trip! Sunny was so knowledgeable and friendly and made our experience perfect- even when I tried to smuggle a bottle of wine onto the boat tour and got in trouble she saved the day! It was an above and beyond experience that we will never forget, getting to try local food with a knowledgeable host who made sure to have us try everything, things we wouldn’t have known about even! My favorite thing I’ve ever eaten on any trip came from this meal - a fried stuffed lotus root, something I probably wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Thank you Sunny! Definitely worth every penny for this experience.

Sunny was a kind, capable, and informative guide to host us on a river cruise of the Huangpu River, followed by dinner at Din Tai Fung. Views were incredible from the VIP area.

We had a great night out with Lily - our host. She was charming and well informed.
The dinner was excellent - delicious!. Unfortunately due to the wind, river cruise was
cancelled, so instead Lily took us to a rooftop bar, which had wonderful views over
the river to the buildings all lit up on the other side. A good alternative to the cruise.

Sunny was a wonderful guide, making our evening simply sensational! We were picked up at our hotel and everything ran like clock work. We had magnificent views of the Shanghai skyline from our VIP cruise seats. Sunny shared lots of interesting facts and information about all that we were experiencing. Our evening was topped off with an amazing meal at Din Tai Fung. Sunny recommended a couple of dishes I would not have known to order on my own - they were delicious! It is great to have a local guide! Thank you Sunny for a great evening!
