Well Worth Dinner Cruise. I will start by saying the only reason for a star deduction is a little disorganised at the beginning to get to the boat as the cafe became very crowded. But the dinner cruise itself was amazing from the staff to the food to the refills of drinks as read reviews that slated this but not one bit of it very attentive so will be back as well as recommending this dinner Cruise Paul

Boarding was shambolic. We were left to queue in the pouring rain for 30 minutes. When we finally got inside the Lovers cafe for pre-boarding a truly awful female member of staff shouted at us for standing in the wrong place. When we explained that it was so tightly crowded and that there was nowhere else to stand she told us she didn’t care and we should go and wait outside in the rain. The toilet in the boarding area, which we were charged to use, was truly diabolical. Disgustingly filthy. When we finally boarded the boat it seemed to be full of a loud hen party. There was a leak in the roof of the boat where we were sat and the onboard toilet was unusable as it was blocked. Please spend your money elsewhere. Truly awful.

Poor start, as staff had the wrong schedule, people waiting in the rain too long, once on board excellent staff and meal, just a pity about the book in section, it would have been 5 if that was better

Having dinner with friends on the boat and seeing the city from the water. The food was not that great and they did not accommodate my friend that has a food allergy even though it was mentioned it when booking.

We were left to queue outside in the pouring rain for 20 minutes. The toilets inside the waiting room were horrifically disgusting and you had to pay for them. Then we were shouted at by a female member of staff for standing in the wrong place and when we pointed out there was nowhere else to stand she said we either move or wait outside in the rain. Exceptionally rude. All before we boarded the boat. Cruise was ok but spoilt by the absolute shambles of checking in beforehand. The toilet on board the boat was blocked. There was a leak in the boat roof above our table.

Terrible food, but a good way to see some sights from the canals, just do one of the other cruises the company has listed, not the dinner one. We were very disappointed in the quality of the food on the dinner cruise. I didn't e pect 5-star food in any way given that the food was essentially "catered" food, which is rarely good; however, this food was exceptionally bad. Steak Tatar is not something most people eat, and certainly not somewhere that you have no idea if it has been kept at the correct temperature and handled properly. The soup was hot, but all of our table's entrees were stone cold - the beef, fish, & the lasagna were all cold as were the 2 tablespoons of potatoes, and the 1 tablespoon of bean/carrots mix vegetables. The dessert amounted to a small juice glass with ground stroopwaffle at the bottom and coffee whipped cream. It was one of the only decent/edible items we were served. The servers on our boat were nice enough but not overly friendly & like most of the serving staff throughout Amsterdam seemed annoyed to wait on tourists. The captain of the boat was cheerful and informative as we glided through the canals. All in all, it's not worth the €79 pp.

The company running the dinner cruise was overwhelmed by those waiting, it was raining hard with no effort to shelter guests. The tenseness was expressed to the guests. Once on board, besides the constant drip from rainwater that leaked on my head, the waitstaff ignored the guests requests, in our case for clean water glasses, due to being moved once seated. Plus we had to literal stick out our hand & stop the waitress & ask for wine or water. Once telling her 3 times that we needed refills. The meal was so, so. There was no tour of Amsterdam provided. No effort was made to quiet the use of really foul language of some guests. All in all, we got the worst city tour & dinner cruise we’ve ever experienced out of the way in one evening. So I guess there was a silver lining to it after all.
