Itinerary
Discover the art and science of scented candle making, from creating your unique scents to skillfully pouring wax step by step. You will get a beautiful 100g of hand-made scented candle in a pottery. We work with the Lao Disabled Women's Development Center to craft beautiful candle jars. While we are waiting for our candles to set, we will learn the Lao tea ceremony with local snacks. This is a wonderful experience that will remind you of the trip to Luang Prang.
Our studio is like a candle Lab and seems to be the first to offer complete professional equipment and a range of scents, especially oriental scents for experimenting together.

My friend and I absolutely loved the class. Our guide was super informative and very nice. The shop was so cute and quaint! We love the smell of our candles we made and loved how we could paint our boxes as well!

This workshop was fantastic! The design and setup of everything is so well done, down to the finest details. Such a picturesque workshop. Lee who leads the workshop was amazing, we had a great chat while enjoying our local tea as the candles set. It was such a fun and unique experience - HIGHLY recommend!
Also it is indoors with AC :)

This was an absolutely amazing experience and I can only recommend it!
My friend and I did the scent candle making workshop with Lee. He was so kind and explained every step in detail. When the candles were drying we got to make our own tea mixture and had lovely chats with him.
If I could I would give this experience a 11/10.

The workshop was amazing! I had such a fun time creating the aroma candle! Gai was lovely and took the time explaining everything. She even held the workshop although it was just me. Would definitely recommend!

Gai Artisan Gallery is such a cozy, fun and creative space. I cannot choose the aroma oil scented as they all are very good choices. I can easily spent a day here making different kind of candles with different scents. Highly recommended either as a solo or group activity.

One of the more authentic candle making experiences that you can find in Luang prabang, I visited this shop with my mother to buy some candle and I can say that the quality of the candles are top notch and they are nothing like the cheap candles you find in the market these days where are after a couple of times of using it the scent and the candle wax seems to dry off. These candles are nothing like that they give out a long lasting smell and a refreshing one at that too. If you ever visit luang prabang Gai's Artisan Candles is a must visit.

This was such an amazing experience! It was wonderful, not only to spend time mixing smells, and learning about candle making, but also to learn about Lao culture through this process. The staff are so friendly and kind :) they made the process very relaxing and comfortable, even as a solo traveler. Additionally, the products are well sourced and give back to other Lao businesses, making it a wonderful community-contributing experience.
