This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Tahiti, Tahiti, Society Islands
Your guide will make you discover Tahiti's centre during the crossing Island tour. You could admire the lush vegetation, the fauna and flora, the rivers and waterfalls. A swim is planned at a cultural water point and filled with Mana, the ancestors' energy.
He will talk you about Maohi people, his roots, he will make you feel Tahiti's heart Mana.
Several stops are planned where your guide will share with you the knowledge and usefulness of the plants.
We will take our time for photo stops of places, waterfalls and viewpoints.
A tasting of seasonal fruits with a cold drink will be offered to you on the second part of the crossing.
The tour is done in good weather and in rainy weather.

If you do one trip in Tahiti this is the one, and Rainui is the guide you want! It was such a wonderful day. Don’t worry about bumpy roads. He drives with care and takes his time. And you can sit inside the cab of the truck too if you’d prefer. We stopped at various spots along the way - including to buy sandwiches / salads before we hit the trail, had a picnic (our guide brought fresh fruit and banana bread), swam in the cool river, and learned so much about the culture of the island, the plants, and wonderful stories. You can stand in the back of the truck or sit. I did both (and I’m 62). We laughed and had fun the whole day. “māuruuru and whatever”. I had the best day!!!!

What a great day! We were blessed (as Rainui would say) with some rain and it was still fun! Get ready to learn about the land, culture, and Tahitian history. It is a bumpy ride and a long day, but worth every minute. I always felt very safe as he navigated up and down the valley. So beautiful - thank you for sharing your island with us!

What a great day. Our guide was the funniest, knowledge and careful driver. We crossed through rugged terrain and the most stunning scenery listening to the stories of culture and history. We swam in a waterfall pool and enjoyed a beautiful fruit and bread platter. Lots of laughs along the way

I was a bit hesitant as I was worried it would be too bumpy ( it really wasn’t bad ) This is an amazing 8 hour tour through the mountains and valley of Tahiti. The Guide is an authentic Tahitian and is a safe and excellent driver. The time flew by with numerous stops, feeding the eels, photo opportunities and a swim in water, all along with Tahitian history/stories and descriptions of medicinal plants. The scenery is quite green and lush. We all bought lunch at an amazing French bakery before entering the valley and we ate it at the swim location stop. He cut up local fruits and had a taste of the most delicious coconut bread! I’m so glad it did this tour. One of my finest memories of Tahiti. It rained a bit but he was able to put a cover on the jeep. The rain only added to the beauty of the scenery. I used a GoPro mounted on my wrist with hyper stabilizer on and captured some fantastic videos. Don’t miss this tour!!

The day long trip was beautiful and exiting. The scenery was unmatched and our driver, Patrick, was very knowledgeable with the plants and flowers. It was a great day and except way to see parts of the island not normally seen. P.S. Bring mosquito repellent!

11/10 tour! He was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about not just what you see and hear but also what you feel. His mana was infectious and lit up the tour! Had tons of inside knowledge on the best stops and gave authentic perspectives on everything. Would definitely do it again!

Where to begin! I am still in wow since last night! Rainui is truly a gentle, beautiful and knowledgeable guide!
With him you will learn more than other company. He is the owner of this tour and share is passion with a big smile, humor and music.
We stopped at some amazing when other tour continue… big example : the eel spot get your video camera ready.
During the drive Rainui will explain a lot so be sure to listen to him and he speaks both languages so please be respectful for other guests when it’s their language turn to listen.
The route is super bumpy but oh man Rainui knows how to drive and to be super careful of his guests.
You will have to time of your life and learn so much.
The cascade stop for lunch was amazing and refreshing. Have your water shoes ready to swim :) and you can meet the fertility rock :) Rainui will tell you the story of it.
This is a beautiful tour into nature and spirit so be respectful and enjoy the Mana truly when you are there.
