Itinerary
The intro to scuba program does not require previous experience. Under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional you’ll learn the basic guidelines and skills needed to dive safely.
You will:
-Study your PADI eLearning to learn the basics of SCUBA.
-Go over the scuba equipment and how to use it while swimming underwater.
-Learn key skills you’ll use during every dive.
-Have fun exploring Maui’s pristine coral reefs.
-Encounter turtles and other tropical fish.
When you book your Discovery Dive you'll be assigned an eLearning login that gives you access to some reading and videos that need to be completed before you arrive at our dive shop. On the day of your dive your instructor will go over the eLearning and brief about the basic skills you will do in the water. Then you’ll head to the dive site and go down to practice skills with your instructor. Once you feel confident, you and your instructor will continue on and go for a dive.
Divers must complete a medical questionnaire. If you answer "yes" to anything, a doctor's approval is required to dive. Refunds aren't authorized for “yes.”

Must complete PADI eLearning prior to time of dive. Refunds are not given for participants who haven't finished their online work.
Divers must be able to carry their own SCUBA gear in and out of the water
Cannot fly or go to elevation within 18 hours of this tour
Minimum age for this activity is 10 years old
All participants must fill out the PADI medical form. We do not offer refunds if your health keeps you from diving so please call us if you have any questions or concerns.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

The worst place ever owner is very rude and basically stole my $300 for their own mistake and I never received the service I paid for!!! Never was refunded either!!

Our instructor Joe was very professional and very informative. Felt safe to sign up the kids for diving . Kids said this was the best experience they had in Maui. So yes, I would definitely recommend Joe for your scuba diving.

We did my 11 year olds first dive with Brooke. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable and very safe, she was patient, friendly, kind and gentle in the process. She was excited about diving and pass that excitement onto my daughter who is now thrilled to become certified. Once the dive shop opens up again, I would highly recommend booking anything with Brooke. We couldn't recommend more highly.

Maia, our instructors, was the most patient person ever. She encouraged us to dive and was with us every step of the way. We saw turtles, sharks and lots of fish. One of my best experiences while in Maui.

Joe was a great instructor! Helped so much and he’s so friendly and makes sure you are doing okay the entire time! I highly recommend doing this with Joe! Thanks so much again for everything and even all the tips on Hawaii even after the class Joe!

We went with maiah and she was AMAZING! very attentive and patient. She answered our million questions to help us feel at ease and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better first dive! 😊

Joe was great! He took out our family of four (myself, husband, and 13yo and 11yo kids). He was very informative and thorough in the instruction, and a great, encouraging guide throughout. Our boys are sporty (team sports and skiing) and were excited to try something new, but were a little nervous after the required e-learning (as mom, I was glad they were taking it seriously). Joe did a great job of breaking it down, emphasizing what was important, but also explaining it in a way that was calming and encouraging. They did great and can’t wait to go again!

First time! Joe was our instructor very knowledgeable ,funny and great chat with him made us feel very confutable couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We are going back to NC to do our classes and Coming back to hopefully schedule our certification with Joe 🤙🏽 we live at the beach and hope to continue diving 🪸. Mahalo for everything Dive Maui!
