This experience is designed for complete beginners. On arrival at the dive centre you will be offered refreshments and then an explanation will be given about the equipment, and what you will see and do during the dive.
You will then be given wetsuits to wear and you will get ready to depart for the dive site. Here you will enjoy your first ever scuba dive in the underwater world, see lots of fish - and maybe even swim with a sea turtle!

If you have your own transport, please come to the dive centre. If you do not have transport we will endeavour to collect you from your hotel if it is listed. Please select your hotel and we will confirm the availability of the pickup service.

If you would like to take advantage of our complimentary local pick up service, please also tell us the name of your accommodation.
Flying within 12 hours of diving is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (e.g. active asthma, heart or lung conditions, etc.) may prevent you from diving. If in doubt, please consult your doctor. Scuba diving is not recommended when pregnant.
You must not consume alcohol prior to scuba diving. You will not be allowed to dive if you feel unwell or are suffering from the effects of alcohol or drugs and you will not be eligible for a refund.
Not recommended for those on prescription medication - a note from your doctor is required
Not suitable for those suffering with heart or lung problems, or with active asthma
Not recommended for those with health conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure - a note from your doctor is required
If you have a health condition you must obtain a note from your doctor to confirm that scuba diving is suitable for you - you may not be able to dive without this.
If you arrive for your dive and have a health condition without doctor's note we regret you will not be eligible for a refund.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

An unforgettable experience! Valentina was excellent! She explained everything to us clearly, broke our fears by instilling calm and confidence in us, guided us carefully during the dive, always keeping the suituation under control. The diving was crazy! We swam with beautiful fishes and saw a turtle! wonderful experience and one to be repeated in the future!

Would 100% recommend to give this a go! You will not be disappointed, for our first ever dive with no experience we were very impressed with the level of detail and care Poseidon’s Team were giving! Very lovely people and amazing time spent. In short it was an unbelievable experience 👌🏼🤙🏼

My fiancée and I had a great time diving for the first time with expert instruction from Chris - we received a thorough explanation of all equipment, plenty of time to try it out and practice before being able to explore Green Bay further. Chris was able to help with any concerns and put us both at ease!
An excellent experience and would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Cyprus to give them a visit!

This experience was amazing from start to finish. A friend booked this for me as a surprise and said the staff was friendly and really easy to book with. When it came to the day of my scuba diving experience, Chris picked me up from the hotel, he was so friendly as was his partner. Chris couldn't have done for us, offering us drinks, getting our equipment ready. He explained everything so well, I felt so at ease and comfortable going with Chris knowing he'd be swimming with me. When we got to Green Bay for the scuba diving, Chris helped me get ready, we practiced the techniques and got on our way. It truly was the best experience, my first time doing it and couldn't quite get my balance etc but Chris was there every step of the way. He was amazing and comforting. And even when we was finished Chris still went above and beyond to ensure I was ok, photos were transferred etc. I really had the best time and already looking at going back again before I go home. 100% would recommend booking with these guys.

Me and My partner chose to dive with Poseidon Dive Centre in Cyprus. We absolutely loved this experience - we arrived at the centre they ran through a few safety points and what the day would entail. They took us out to Green Bay Beach where we did more safety stuff! Very thorough and easy to understand. The dive was amazing! The staff at Poseidon were great, super friendly and knowledgeable about diving!
Would recommend this to anyone visiting and any beginners! We knew nothing about diving! 10/10!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a great time with Anna. She was very patient and explained everything in detail. Doing a few exercises in shallow water before the dive gave me confidence. After the exercises you just swim along the bottom of the sea and you kind of forget you’re actually 9m under water. Anna was leading the way but continuasly checking on me as well. Even though my husband decided not to dive last minute, Anna still managed to take a few pictures of us together: me deeper in the water and my husband floating above me. If you never tried scuba diving before - this is THE place to do it!

Very frendly team welkom us, and explain the use of the diving material. After this we went into see and practice the use ofthe material. When all was feeling confertable the real dive started. fantastic experience for all of us

It was my first-time scuba diving, and I loved every minute. Ann was excellent; she guided us (myself and one other) every step of the way, and at no point did I feel like I didn't know what I was doing. Great teacher! We got to explore much of the seabed and meet some sea life along the way! Sadly, I didn't get to see any turtles, but I think we just missed them. I'll probably go back next time I visit Cyprus! I would highly recommend it!
