Itinerary
Upon check-in, you will meet your PADI instructor, fill out a medical form and get ready with the gear. Once ready, you'll go to the boat for a short 5 minute ride to the dive site. When you arrive there, you will receive complete instructions about gear, communication, environment and safety procedures. Then, you will start by practicing a few basic diving skills. Not to worry, as they are pretty easy and soon enough you will master them quickly and build your confidence.
Once you are done with the skills, it's time to have the adventure of your life!

Diving within 18 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

Drinking alcohol is not recommendable at least 12 hours before diving
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

So many beautiful coral and tropical fish. Our scuba instructor Loris was amazing, calm, friendly, and made the 1st scuba experience one I will always remember.

They take safety seriously, which is of prime importance in an activity like this. Angela is a great instructor. Make sure you have certification before signing up -- unless you are doing the discover scuba diving experience.

My partner and I dove with Angela for the Discover Scuba. This was my first dive ever and she kept me calm and walked me through the dive - I was able to add on the second dive. My partner has dove before but not certified but still kept a good pace for him and it was a scenic and interesting dive for both of us. We were able to see puffer fish, trumpet fish, moray eels, and sea lions! Would definitely recommend Manta and Angela for first timers or those diving again in Cabo.!

I haven’t scuba dived in a few years, so my beginner friend and I did a discovery dive with Julio. He was absolutely amazing! I had a hard time controlling my breathing the first few minutes, but he kept me calm, and I was soon looking at reef sharks, pufferfish, trumpet fish, and sea lions in no time. One of my favorite dive instructors!

Staff were amazing! We were supposed to check in at 7:30 am but with having to wait to catch a tender off the ship, we were running late. We received a call by 7:50 to check on our status and got directions straight to the shop. And with a ratio of one guide to two people, it made me feel much more safe and comfortable on the dive. The guides were not only knowledgable, but personable. We had Lawrence from Italy and Juanito from Columbia. Both were phenomenal guides.
We went mid-March when waters were a little more cold, but tolerable with the wet suits provided and much more sea life than we had seen on our previous 4 dives in various tropical regions (or our last trip here that was later in the season). It doesn’t have the clear vision distance of the Caribbean, but we still saw a bigger variety and so many schools of fish it was amazing. I wish we had a go pro or underwater camera.
We received our instructions at the shop, boated 5-10 minutes away and jumped right in to practice the skills. Our previous trips all practiced the skills on a beach shore, which my husband and I liked better; it made us feel comfortable with the equipment and process before getting 8 feet down. But my teens preferred this method! Highly recommend this activity and company.

They picked us up at our hotel, took us to the port and we walked right onto our boat (Mako 2). Krishna (sp?) was very informative about the area we were seeing...they captain took us around the point of Baja and into the Pacific, which was cool! We snorkeled around Pelican Rock and saw so many beautiful fish! It was my second time snorkeling and I had a bit of a panic attack...Kristna was so patient...she got me a circular life preserver to hang onto (and look through) and she pulled me all around.

Let me just say Julio the Black Shark is the most amazing guide I’ve ever encountered in my life. My brother and i signup to scuba dive for my 28th birthday. My brother jumped in like a pro no problem. I was a little different. I’ve traveled all over the world and snorkeled everywhere, but never scuba dived. I thought it was going to be the same but i panicked when i went into the water and couldn’t control my breathing. Julio stayed with me the entire time and was 100% patient with working with me to calm down and get under water. We took it into small baby steps to get me comfortable enough to fully submerge in the water. It took us a few minutes but not once did i feel rushed or any once of annoyance from Julio. The entire experience was beautiful!!! Not only did he take his time, even underwater he kept checking on me via the hand singles and he allowed me to hold onto him just so i can feel safer and more secure. I would recommend him and this company time and time again! They’re all so amazing and I’m beyond grateful i had Julio there to help me achieve my bday wish of scuba diving !! I can’t thank him or Manta Scuba Dive enough !!

Best Scuba Diving in San José. They are so professional. They make you in confidence before the scuba. All is secured. They really take care of you during the scuba, to not have any pressure or scared. Thanks to Baptiste, the Fenchy one.

Got to Cabo Adventures and found out that I was the only person. This resulted in an amazing dive trip where I got to see new sights. Thank-you Patricia for being a great guide and the team for making me feel so welcomed on the dive boat. I would fully recommend for anyone new to diving.

Incredible excursion. Loris was an amazing teacher and easy to follow. For a beginner, or if you are a little rusty, this is a great way to get in to scuba. Bonus stop by the arch was a nice touch.
