Itinerary
You will meet your professional Spearfishing instructor at 1pm at the Spearfishing school in Tamarindo. You will start the afternoon preparing your first Spearfishing experience with some theory about Spearfishing equipment, techniques and safety. You will learn how to choose, stalk and spear a fish, and all the secrets of the sport. At around 2pm, you will head to Flamingo in our shuttle and jump on the boat with your instructor for the open water session. Time to get a fish for dinner!

Great spearfishing trip with Gaultier out at the Catalina Islands with a beer and fruit on the boat after. They brought everything to make sushi on the boat too.

Great guide and location. Got to the reef quickly - saw tons of fish right away. Christian got us to the fish and got us some good eatin for lunch.

Wow! Awesome day and we all caught fish. Christian was the best. He helped get us trained on the spear fishing gun and then when we were in the water he was with us. He helped us reload spears and I think he was flushing fish out of the depths in our direction so we could catch them.

The snorkeling was a bit tougher than I imagined, but my experience is limited to shallow Caribbean water. Christian is a great guide and took the time to ensure we enjoyed the excursion regardless. If you're a strong swimmer/diver than I recommend this trip. We snorkeled in Potrero bay, Flamingo beach area, about 50min drive from Tamarindo. Beautiful scenery.

Freediving Costa Rica was awesome - Gauthier and Christian were knowledgeable, safe, and super relaxed. I caught 2 fish and had a great time. I even went to a local restaurant after and they cooked the fish for me on the spot for lunch. Highly recommend this shop for free diving and spearfishing trips!
