Absolutely beautiful. A very full day, even from Te Anau, involving 2 coaches and 2 boats but so worth it to experience the views and the tranquility. There was loads of room on the boat, a great commentator and you could buy food/drinks on board if you wanted or take your own. All staff super friendly and professional. Particularly special to go up the side channels and also out to the meeting point with the sea. We benefitted from good weather, but it would be a great trip anyway.

Excellent!! Great staff and what a place that the one boat had to itself!!
It would have been amazing but with blue sky, a couple of Dolphin displays and out into the sea for a little seal watching, it really was spectacular!

The moments of silence on Doubtful sound on a perfectly beautiful day. I was able to just focus both inwards and outwards on the beauty of this part of New Zealand

Beautiful scenery and commentary! We started our day with a van ride to Manapouri, then a 45 minute boat ride across the lake and a coach bus to the dock to catch our boat to the fiords! Great sites all along our journey!!A definite must-see in the South Island!

From the crossing of Lake Manapouri, the bus across Wilmot Pass to the actual cruise - it was an amazing experience.
The staff were helpful and friendly, the food was great and the boat was excellent.
Doubtful Sound is a breathtakingly beautiful, untouched part of the world. And then there were the dolphins - what a marvellous creature, sheer delight.
