This evening trip in and around Funchal by motorbike and sidecar was one of the shore tours offered by our Fred Olsen cruise ship and for me and my two adult daughters it really was an evening to remember. The bikes went at just the right speed for enjoyment and our friendly, informative guide ensured that we had long enough at the various view points to admire the stunning coastline as the sun was setting. The souvenir photos provided after our trip were a nice touch too. Next time we are in Madeira and hopefully with more time at our disposal, we would have no hesitation in booking one of the other Madeira Sidecar Tours.

Nuno ist ein sympathisch- relaxter und höchst informativer local Guide, der seinen Gästen einzigartige Erlebnisse bieten möchte und sie auf herrlich abenteuerlichen Wegen zu den besten Spots bringt und auch immer sanft und sicher zurück.

Nous avons réservé une balade en side car pour visiter Funchal et les alentours en soirée. Le contact pour la réservation était très professionnel et efficace. Notre guide était Nuno. Très ponctuel, il est venu pour chercher à l’hôtel. Les casques étaient équipés d’un système audio avec micro, vraiment super pour recevoir les explications en roulant et interagir avec le pilote. Je précise que Les explications sont en français, un must pour nous·. Nuno connaît parfaitement la ville et ses endroits insolites, nous avons fait plusieurs quartiers, reçus plein d’infos historiques, économiques et culturelles sur Funchal et l’île de Madère . On sent bien que Nuno est un vrai passionné de l’île et de sa moto. Nous sommes montés jusqu’à un magnifique point de vue pour admirer le coucher du soleil sur Funchal, et nous avons pu choisir notre point de chute pour terminer la ballade. Bravo à cette équipe pour sa sympathie et son professionnalisme, si nous revenons à Funchal, nous testerons une autre balade.

Tivemos uma experiencia que mais parecia uma cena de um filme vintage, foi mesmo fantastica! A sensaçao de ter o ar a bater na cara ao mesmo tempo que conheciamos a bela cidade do Funchal...passar no meio das ruas tipicas e logo a seguir ver a zona mais cosmopolita deu para perceber os contrastes que, sem duvida, se apreciam melhor ao fazer este tour.
O Filipe foi super simpático e atencioso, mostrou-nos a cidade de ponta a ponta ao mesmo tempo que nos contava detalhes e curiosidades da sua cidade. As vistas que tivemos desde cima foram fabulosas ;-)
Sem pensar duas vezes repetiria esta experiencia, recomendo a quem visita a Ilha!

Visite originale et inoubliable dans Funchal. Non seulement le tour en side car est une expérience à part entière mais en plus Filipe nous a parfaitement fait découvrir la Ville avec sympathie et enthousiasme. Nous recommandons vivement. D’autant qu’il parle également anglais et français.

Nous avons eu la chance de découvrir Funchal (centre historique, vieille ville,...) aux côtés de Filipe, notre chauffeur et guide pour la soirée, qui nous a raconté beaucoup de choses très intéressantes sur Madère et nous a fait découvrir de magnifique vues de Funchal la nuit a des endroits moins touristiques ! En plus, un moyen de transport super original.
