Dramatic Gangwon 2 Days Tour

Itinerary

Day 1: Seoul ~ Taebak

Stop At: Hwangji Pond, 25-4, Hwangji-dong Hwangjiyeonmot-gil, Taebaek, Gangwon-do South Korea
Time to visit the Hwangji Pond, the origin of Nakdonggamg River, one of the four major rivers in Korea and take a walk. You also will have free time to get lunch at Hwangji Free Market close to it.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: “Descendants of the Sun” Taebaek Filming Set, 112, Tonggol-gil, Taebaek, Gangwon-do 26029 South Korea
We will spend some time at the the filming set of the famous K-Drama "Descendants of the Sun". Take your time and explore the set and take some photos. After the set we will also an abandoned mine close to it, that is now used as an exhibition hall.
Duration: 1 hour 50 minutes

Stop At: Taebaek, Taebaek, Gangwon-do
Our next stop will be the Aurora Park. which features an observatory, as well as exhibition about the trailway history of five countries around the world, such as USA, Australia, etc.
Duration: 1 hour 50 minutes

Stop At: Gumunso, 11 Dongtaebaeng-ro, Taebaek, Gangwon-do South Korea
We will visit the Gumunso RUral Billage to make peach red pepper paste and sausage. After that we will have dinner and the village and it will also be our accommodation.

Day 2: Taebaek ~ Pyeongchang ~ Seoul

Stop At: Gumunso, 11 Dongtaebaeng-ro, Taebaek, Gangwon-do South Korea
We will have breakfast at the rural village and then leave for Pyeongchang.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Woljeongsa Temple, 374-8, Odaesan-ro, Dongsan-ri, Jinbu-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do 25318 South Korea
The first stop of the tour is the Odaesan Woljeongsa Temple with its majestic Fir Tree Forest Road. This location was used while filmeing the K-Drama "Goblin" and offers a beautiful background for photos. Use the time for a healing walk and/ or a photoshoot.

Stop At: Odaesan National Park, 2, Odaesan-ro, Jinbu-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do 25318 South Korea
You will have some free time at the Odaesan Food Village to enjoy your lunch.
Duration: 1 hour 10 minutes

Stop At: Lee Hyo Seok Literature Forest, 97, Munhaksup-gil, Bongpyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do 25304 South Korea
The buckwheat fields at Lee Hyo Seok Literature Forest were also part of the K-Drama "Goblin". Take a stroll through the forest and take photos at the buckwheat field.
