A friendly driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the creek, where you will board a traditional Arabic dhow, typical waterborne vessels of the Persian Gulf traditionally used by pearl fishers.
As you set off, you will glide past the wonderful illuminated skyline of Dubai at night, and feast on Arabic and international specialties in the comfort of the on-board dining area. The dhow offers an international open-buffet with appetizers, salad, fish, meat, several desserts to choose from. At the end of your romantic evening of soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of Dubai at night, your driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

We bought the ticket with hotel transfer included and the cruise operator said our hotel wasn’t included and we had to pay an extra 200 Dirham for transport. The , they changed the event time from starting at 7 pm to 9pm so definitely not a dinner cruise. We ended up not going because the transportation the cruise director set up was almost an hour late from picking us up. I am working with my credit card company to claim as a scam and get refunded

First of all we had to wait about 40 mintutes for pickup despite a request from the organizer to be in the meeting point at a given time.
Later on when we boarded the ship we had to wait another 45minutes for a departure.
We were given a bottle of water and plastic cups only.
Food was acceptable but very limited and served on a paper plates.
Music was too loud and we were not able to speak to each other.

We went on that trip, and referring to the advertisement they were supposed to offer freshly prepared food by a 5-star caterer and an international buffet. In fact it was only indian/pakistan-like food of very poor quality, nothing international about that, and the food was cold like it came right out of the fridge and could not be reheated properly. So it was not freshly prepared and not even reheated. After we told the associates one of them suddenly couldn’t speak English any more any the others just turned around and walked away. We didn’t eat anything from the buffet, it was awful.
The also advertised to offer tea or coffee, that was not offered on board.
We booked pick up and drop off option from our hotel. We had to wait for 1h! in the hotel lobby for pick up. During waiting time, we contacted the tour operator several times and they also said the driver is about to arrive within a few minutes, but he finally did after 1h.

Had an amazing evening with my family aboard the dhow dinner cruise which took us past Burj Khalifa among other attractions. The on-board entertainment was amazing as was the pace of the evening. An excellent way to spend two hours! Thanks we recommend this cruise
