Stop At: Guinness Storehouse, Market Street St James Gate, Dublin D08 VF8H Ireland
On this fun filled engaging tour you will visit the GUINNESS STOREHOUSE Ireland's No. 1 visitor attraction, a "must see" on any visit to Dublin. Housed in an old fermentation plant in the heart of St James's Gate Brewery, the now seven-storey visitor experience tells the story of Ireland's iconic drink and brings to life the heritage of this world famous dark stout beer. In the company of your local expert guide your journey begins standing at the bottom of the world's largest pint glass, which rises through the building. It is a dramatic story that begins over 250 years ago and ends in Gravity Bar, Dublin's highest bar where you will receive a complimentary pint of Guinness while enjoying spectacular views over Dublin and listening to some great stories from your engaging and friendly guide.
Your guide will commence your escorted tour at the ground floor Atrium to see the copy of the 9,000-year brewery lease signed by Guinness’ founder, Arthur Guinness, in 1759, and learn about the four ingredients of the iconic Irish stout: water, barley, hops and yeast.
Other highlights waiting to be discovered include finding all about the Guinness brewing and barreling process through virtual exhibits, equipment displays and videos on the craft of the coopers — the original wooden barrel-makers. Then, you can continue on to the other floors where you can immerse yourself in the Guinness story through a host of interactive displays and multi-sensory experiences. Discover the key moments in Guinness’ history and advertising and before you leave you may like to visit the Guinness Store to buy some Guinness-branded memorabilia — the perfect souvenir of your visit.

John was a fantastic, engaging, and friendly guide. Shared lots of extra knowledge about the city with us between the two sites. Tour itself was great, as well... educational, interesting, and fun, and, of course, the samples don't hurt!

Our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable and funny! The only thing I didn’t like was all of the walking between the two tours. We learned a lot, but this tour was about 4 hours and all walking.

Neil was full of knowledge and great local stories. Added bonus of an unscheduled special stop. Skip the line is way worth it. Good group size, easy walk - don’t let the others steer you away. Would recommend

Great tour. There is basically a guide that talks to you a little before sending you into Jameson. Inside of Jameson there is a whiskey presentation with a separate host. Then the original guide will walk with you and tell you more about the city as you walk over to Guinness. Inside of Guinness you are basically on your own to explore and experience the Storehouse.

Do NOT book with Viator nor this tour company. Book direct with Guinness and Jameson and save HALF.
I made a mistake and missed my tour. My fault. Contacted the companies and they told me there was nothing they could do. Went to the Jameson facility who offered to help me but need to work with the guide company. Guide Company told me on phone nothing they would do because Guinness wouldn't cooperate. Well Guinness/Jameson said they would So "LetzGo City Tours" charged me double and was uwilling to make any compromise. Simple lies. I got the tour comped half by Guinness and will NEVER us Viator (aka TripAdvisor) again. TripAdvisor has lost a customer

What’s not to love: Jameson and Guinness? An added bonus included a walking tour with our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide Jimmy.
