The trip was a blast! Even with some lower water levels, guide KJ, made it fun and exciting for the kids! The "surfing" and swimming in the wave was a highlight. Unlike other companies, our trip was a small group and very personal.

Lars was a fantastic guide. He made it especially fun for the two youngsters we had in the raft. Great trip, would definitely go again.

Our raft guide Veronica was a good guide and did a good job. My daughter enjoyed the trip and body surfing the rapids.

Our family unanimously voted that this was the best excursion of our vacation to Durango. Veronica was our TL and we felt very safe in her boat. I was very nervous because we had never rafted before, but she told us what we needed to do and made sure we were all positioned in the proper spots to get us through the rapids safely. The water was a brush 47 degrees so that was a bit shocking each time we were drenched by the river, but it has become a great part of our family memories now. We wouldn’t hesitate to do this again!

We had a great experience on the Animas River! We are a family of 5 with 3 girls ages 16, 14, & 9 and the trip was perfect for all of us! Or guide Carson was amazing and very knowledgeable of the area. And the manager, David, was so helpful not only with the rafting but giving us lots of information and suggestions around Durango! Definitely book with these guys!!

Brian was a fantastic river guide! He was knowledgeable about the area and fun to be around. I wish the river was a bit higher, but we all still had a great time (with a lot of laughs)!

What a great day! Our guide was Kyle and he was great, but all of the staff is super friendly and accommodating. This was our families first trip and Kyle was very patient, fun, and had a lot of information to share about some of Durango's cool history. We definitely want to go back when the river is higher and hope to see Kyle again!
