Beat our expectations. Super fun for all ages, saw all kind of marine life. Both the guide and captain were super attentive.

The team was so amazing! Very friendly and catered to us well with all four of our kids. They helped us with our smaller kids so we could enjoy snorkeling and see the fish, sea turtles, and sting rays. They even let us board early. Very nice people! Well worth the money!! They did supply everything we needed as well!

We had an amazing snorkeling trip, even though I’ve had trouble with snorkeling in the past. Very helpful staff and patient with me, since I had problems swimming fast enough to stay with the group. Got to see huge starfish, rays and lots of other fish. And guacamole with chips at the sand bar was fun. I’d do it again!

Our guides were wonderful and accommodating. We saw so much sea life, and ended surrounded by rays eating the most delicious boat-made ceviche.

guides were super nice and helpful, and accomodating with two small children. stayed in shallow area longer for the kids. saw fish and stingrays- had shade on boat ( no bathrooms so know in advance). a nice experience! marina is not at same place the ferry's dock from Playa del Carmen, so additional taxi is needed to get over to that marina. We didnt realize so more time was needed . About a 15 min. ride.

We had a great day with Migel and Angelo. The water was a bit rough but we managed ok. If you’re prone for motion sickness do take what works for you just in case. Migel was so nice and polite. He was eager to show us all the spots to view sea life. We saw fish a sea turtle starfish and rays. Angelo made us the best guacamole on the boat. Fresh !! He drove us back closer to the shore where it wasn’t as rough Had a fun day

We were VERY much looking forward to this trip from the other reviews. Unfortunately, it was cancelled due to weather which we understood. The problem was that I didn’t get any notification before we went there and we had to pay to take a taxi there and back. When we arrived the office wasn’t open and no one could really tell us what was going on. At 10 when the tour was supposed to start, someone did show up and let us know it was cancelled. The shopkeeper next door was very helpful as well.

Our guides weee phenomenal! They took us to several reefs, making sure we had the opportunity to see as much marine life as possible. Our guide found starfish, nurse sharks, conchs, lobster, parrot fish, a green turtle and more. Our last stop at El Cielo was the most beautiful beach on the island by far. Enjoying the shallow water with a beer and fresh ceviche was icing on the cake. We would do this trip again and absolutely with the same captain and crew.

We had a fantastic few hours with Panky (snorkel guide) and Alberto (Captain). They were friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and we had the best snorkeling experience I have ever had. nurse shark, eagle ray, moray eel, sea turtle, star fish, conch, lobster … and then topped off by chips and homemade guacamole in the ocean while rays swam around us. Also got great underwater photos from Nedi. Marina is a short, safe 15 minute walk from the cruise terminal. Highly recommend

First off, the instructions on where to meet are incorrect. We walked to the circle drive listed at "Fortuna" and there was nothing in site. FInally reached the vendor who met up and we had to walk over toward the correct spot which was next to the pharmacy by the water. the trip to the 3 sites takes about 45 mins on the boat. it was pretty choppy/windy that day so the trip wasn't so pleasant. I felt this part of the trip took up the most time. We did go to 3 sites. The first snorkel site had barely any fish. The guide that jumped in the water with us had fish food in his satchel, and would pull some out occasionally so a small school of fish followed us. The reef seemed deserted, not the best snorkel spot. we did get to see a sea turtle which was amazing. The second spot was a star fish sanctuary. tons of them, beautiful, only spent about 15 mins here, b/c not much else to see. The final spot was really nice. it was a sandbar with sting rays swimming around. we got to just hang in the water, having some beers and they served the most amazing ceviche. Overall between the incorrect directions, a pretty disappointing fishless reef and a lengthy ride to and from that isn't clearly listed, this tour was just okay. our guide did jump in bc he was trying to sell us his gopro photos. not sure i would book this tour again.
