Kiwi owned and operated we’d love to show you our backyard and introduce you to the best trails around. Trails that were once known only to locals and enthusiasts are now accessible to you!
We Provide:
Helmets, panniers, maps, support if needed along the trails, great customer service and smiles for free! We also have environmentally friendly drink bottles and yummy trail snacks available for purchase.
Please Bring:
Sunscreen, water, camera, maybe some swimwear and a towel for a quick dip in the river along the way. During winter months warm clothes and gloves are a must!

First time going on eBikes, we eBiked on the wine trail for our Christmas function. Level of service was outstanding and so very helpful throughout the day.
We had punctures along the way but was helped immediately. Bikes we comfy to ride and safety briefing was given. Will def do again!

Really nice way to spend a day, the scenery is stunning. We started our winery e-bike tour around 10-10:30am and had to miss a few wineries, so we would recommend starting at 9am. Would also recommend getting food at The Church, not Kinross, as it’s much nicer (and a lot cheaper!).

Such a lovely way to spend a day, the cycle there was beautiful and the wineries are so pretty. If you want food, we recommend The Church, Kinross is super expensive and quite average, but their wine was great.

Meg was incredible! She went above and beyond to help us with our bikes and she was super friendly and gave us good directions. The views from the biking were incredible and will highly be recommending Meg and better by bikes arrowtown to friends!

The Better by Bike staff is fabulous and the bikes are well maintained.
The track from Arrowtown to the wineries is a beautiful ride along (and sometimes well above) the river on a well-maintained path. We made lots of scenic stops. The best part is that the wineries are close together at the end of bike track, so after the ride we did several wine tastings and had a nice lunch, and didn't have to bike back- we were picked us with a smile and driven back to our car. We highly recommend Better by Bike and this winery biking experience.

We rented e-bikes from the lovely team at Better By Bike in Arrowtwon and biked the 2 hours to Gibbston Tavern where we had a great lunch. Stopped at the bungy on the way. The Better By Bike team then picked us up and shuttled us back to Arrowtown.
Great day out for all the family including teenage children. Fanastic scenery and great bikes.

The best bikes and easy access to leave car across the road in free carpark.
The guy was great setting bikes up which are brand new and rode well to Mt Rosa wines and back full day e biking. Arrow River bike trail .
Instructions were given on pickup but lots to remember .
Just forgot how to turn bike power back on after stopping . But friend sorted this out for me .
