Follow the signage to the Kings E-Bike Rentals location, conveniently located at the Sitka Cruise Terminal. Our friendly staff will greet you and ask a few questions to understand your desired activity level and town sights you’d like to see during your rental. Kings E-Bikes will provide town and trail maps for the rental party.
Once the route is decided, you will be fitted for a safety helmet and then watch our instructional and safety video. Then staff will take you to your bike, review the operations, adjust it to your height, and do an additional safety check. There is an opportunity to test the bike to ensure the proper adjustments.
From there, you depart the terminal and begin to see the sights of Sitka at your own pace. Kings staff are available all day should there be any issues or if you would like additional recommendations on places to visit. You return the e-bike at the end of the day to the same location.

Best bike rental EVER! Bikes were in great condition, fully charged and worked beautifully. Comfortable helmets. The staff was friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to rent again.

This was a great way to scoot around Juneau. We rode the bins to the Raptor center which was cool. Makes it really easy to get asserting with minimal effort.

20 years ago, my husband and I were road cyclists doing century rides. Now, a bad injury has caught up to me and I do not get to that level of fitness. Still we love to explore together bc electric bikes make it possible. We have rented manual and electric bikes on many of our trips and King’s bikes was heads above some of the places we have rented. We can usually get by on the lack of safety or logistical info but King’s didn’t leave you guessing. Which made me happier for those who are less comfortable. They provided safety video, good bikes with bike instruction, a map with instruction, and good helmets. They also did not nickel & dime for helmets, bike racks, & locks. They were right on the dock and it was nice to get away from bus tours coming off a cruise. They answered their phone when I had questions too. Felt in good hands with them.

Great ride! We climbed Harbor Mountain Road and used up our battery quickly (by noon). The operator was responsive to deliver another charged battery right to where we were. No questions asked.

If you are on an Alaska cruise, and stop in Sitka, Kings E-Bike Rental is a great opportunity. The line for the shuttle into town is long, boring and a Covid hot spot. Rent an E-Bike right at the dock and zip into town. It's only 5 miles into town and there is a wide bike lane. Once in town explore and enjoy. The operators of the rental are very nice people.

The bikes were in great condition and the staff were friendly and informative. We rode the whole island and didn’t have to worry about the crowded buses. The scenery was so beautiful! Thanks for making our time in Sika memorable.

We had a wonderful time in Sitka exploring on the e-bikes. They were easy to ride and comfortable. The process was fast and the training easy to understand. The only suggestion I would make is to add a rear-view mirror so one can see the traffic coming without turning their head. Would definitely rent these again, if we ever return to Sitka.
