Itinerary
The English courses at Vamos English Academy have six levels: Beginner (A1), Elementary (A2), Pre-Intermediate (B1), Intermediate (B1 +), Upper-Intermediate (B2), Advanced (C1) Students under the category of Higher (C2) often take individual classes or in private groups, as they have specific goals of preparing for an international exam or are planning to move to an English speaking country.
Each level is organized according to the competencies of the students and where they most need assistance to be effective in communication. The advantage of this framework is that it mainly considers what a student can currently do with the language and where he wants or needs to be in terms of ability. Although different parts of the language system (grammar, vocabulary, etc.) are discussed in our classes, our levels primarily indicate the ability of students to function in communicative contexts.

The classes were great fun, and we learned a huge amount of Spanish in a v short timespan. On top of that, all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Highly recommended

I joined at Vamos during 2021 for learning english, and the experience has been amazing. I want to thank all of my teachers throughout this journey (Maria, Camila, Frederick, Ty, and Taine), their effort allowed me to improve my english and be more confident. I highly recommend Vamor for anyone who wants to learn English and Spanish!

I really enjoyed my experience at Vamos. Overall, it was wonderful and I'm glad I chose to attend Vamos Academy. Initially, I enrolled in an 8-week intensive group class, but later switched to individual lessons. The group classes were particularly enjoyable because of the diverse mix of students from all over the world. Brazilians were especially fun and made the class even more interesting. We had plenty of conversation practice along with some much-needed grammar instruction.
Vamos has tailored textbooks for each level of learning, but in my opinion, they can sometimes be too complex. I mentioned this to the academic director who kindly offered an alternative textbook with a simpler approach. During the first 8 weeks, Maria was my teacher and for individual lessons, I had Paula. I found one-on-one lessons to be particularly intensive but ultimately beneficial in consolidating everything I learned in the group course.
In terms of the school itself, Vamos is modern, clean, and has a beautiful terrace where you can relax and enjoy the sun. All in all, I highly recommend Vamos Academy to anyone looking to learn a new language.

Taking classes at Vamos Academy has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The teachers are amazing and you always feel welcomed. It’s nice to be able to talk to other students and teachers from other countries. Great experience!

I am currently studying Spanish by morning and teaching English by afternoon here at Vamos, and at either side of the classroom I am absolutely blown away by the academy’s quality of service.
Without a doubt, the most impressive aspect of the Vamos experience is its staff. No matter what question you may have, whether as a student or teacher, the members of staff will go out of their way to help, and always with a smile! Every person who walks through the door is made to feel welcome by the staff’s friendliness, and the coffee helps too first thing in the morning.
The quality of teaching material is also worth noting: the content of the Spanish syllabus is uniquely curated by Vamos itself, making the learning experience wholly original, and presented by seasoned teachers of the highest calibre. I have no critiques whatsoever!
As a teacher here I have to mention, again, the warm welcome I have received by the Vamos staff. I’ve felt supported at every moment within the academy, and have had access to whatever teaching material I may need for each class.
I recommend Vamos Academy without hesitation for anyone intending to learn a new language. You will meet wonderful people, enjoy an excellent teaching experience, and learn a LOT!
