We spent our Christmas Day with C-Jey and his artist friends who are all working to improve the life of children in the slums through music and dance education. The group we met were talented artists actively involved in the development of the Kenyan music scene and working hard to give back to their community.
We had a traditional Kenyan Christmas lunch together, had wonderful conversations , sang, danced and made music!
C-Jey definitely made us feel welcomed in his inner circle and for us it truly made Christmas special! Felt like we were hanging out with our family and friends that we have known for years .

Jonson is a warm, lovely and lively teacher.
Started making Kenyan cuisine together which was very delicious and healthy. The drumming workshop was a therapeutic experience that made me alert all the time, although it was difficult sometimes especially when we sang and drummed at the same time. Loved the feeling of merging with the sound we made. The place was surrounded by quiet and gorgeous nature.
I certainly recommend this experience to anyone!
