We start from Santa Marta, we head south to the Ciénaga Grande del Magdalena, to enter the largest lagoon in the Colombian Caribbean. Around this great mirror of water are the locations of a hundred years of solitude and this place is described by Garcia Marquéz as a great mirror of water that is difficult to surround and decisive for the magic of the Caribbean.
This tour will take us to the mouth of the Sevilla River to have the opportunity to see birds, later we will go to BuenaVista, a fishing village built in the Ciénaga on stilts, there we will have the opportunity to share this amphibious way of life with its inhabitants, people incredible from which we can learn a lot.
Finally we go to the city of Ciénaga, Magdalena where we will take a tour of the historic center, which is an architectural heritage, there we will learn more about this magical Caribbean and we will finish at the end of the tour in a traditional Macabí restaurant.
