First time diving? Be prepared to have a life changing experience!
Discover the amazing underwater world with the most experienced instructors and the best quality diving equipment. Dive in the crystal clear water of Crete and explore the unique sealife of the island! During the mini theoritical lesson (EN, FR, GER) you will learn everything you need to know in order to enjoy a fun and safe dive! Our well experienced and patient instructors will answer all your questions and makes you feel ready for the next step! They will teach you about the equipment, equalization techniques, and a few skills which you will work together in shallow water before you go deeper.
You will need to fill up a participant statement which also includes a liability release form and a medical questionnaire which purpose is to find out if you should be examined by a doctor before participating in recreational diving activities.
Minimum age is 8 years old, knowledge of swimming is not necessary and the depth will be adapted to your level of confidence and the diving standards. Your safety and satisfaction is our priorities.
The experience will last about 4.5 hours.

Please look for a blue mini bus outside of your hotel or property. If you come with your own car we will meet at Horizon diving base in Gournes or directly at the diving site under request!

Absolutely AMAZING! Did an archeological dive and saw many ancient artifacts. Yiannis was my guide and was incredible, super fun, helpful, and got wonderful photos and videos for me. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful experience!!! I had booked this excursion for my birthday and I do not regret, it was so worth it. YIANNIS was an amazing instructor and super helpful. He made our second diving experience memorable. We will definitely be coming back!!

The only dive shop that you should bother going to on Crete!!
Yiannis and Kris were both very nice people and professional. My partner and I felt safe, confident and had loads of fun. Their communication was amazing from booking, briefing and whilst diving (speak perfect English).
The equipment provided for rental was very high quality, fitted perfectly and they even brought spares along just incase we needed to change size.
Don’t waist your time looking for anywhere else, just book with these guys!

Loved scuba diving! It was my first time, and I went with my best friend. Our guide was Yiannis, and he was so kind and helpful. He made us feel very comfortable and gave us a great experience. This is great for beginners and it’s a beautiful way to explore areas near Heraklion!

Horizon diving are simply the best . From being picked up from my hotel to being taken back . They are very relaxed friendly and professional at the same time, I hired full scuba kit and wetsuit all of which was of a very high quality and well serviced. Horizon diving are Most definitely the best I have been with over the years .
Highly recommend for anyone.
