Stop At: Pisac, Pisac, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
The archaeological center of Pisa will be visited very early in the morning which will last 2 hours, starting from the city of Cusco.
Duration: 5 hours
Stop At: Ollantaytambo, Ollantaytambo, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
We will visit the archaeological center of Ollantaytambo which will last two hours and then go by train to the citadel of the Incas Machupicchu.

Day 2: Santuario Histórico de Machu Picchu
Stop At: Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, 08680, Peru
The sanctuary of Machupicchu will be visited throughout the day where you can visit all the archaeological centers located in it, take photos and others, the rest of the day you can visit the citadel of Aguas Calientes and return by train to the city of Cusco

We took a tour of sacred valley, Machu Picchu, Rainbow mountain and Paracas with Tikas Peru. Michael and his team were extremely helpful in guiding us and ensured we had a great time and lot of fun.
The tour guides were so knowledgeable and supportive. Michael was always available on phone to answer our questions. Thank you Michael and team for the great service.
Highly recommend for families travelling with young kids. Michael ensures that you are well taken care of.

My sister went on a trip to Peru in Nov. 2023 and highly recommended Tikas Peru for our Peru trip in December between Christmas and New Year's. I got in touch with Michael and we corresponded via WhatsApp over the course of several weeks to finalize our itinerary.
Michale was extremely responsive and always provided detailed responses to any questions I had. I once texted him at 2am expecting him to respond the following day, but he responded right away! We were a group of 8 and he arranged private tours and transfers for us for all 7 days. He ensured that the itinerary worked for our specific needs and provided very reasonable and transparent pricing.
Our tour started in Cusco, and we were greeted by his team and our guide Christian (Chris) at the airport. We were amazed by the care and attention to detail. Plenty of space in nice comfortable Mercedes tourist van that could seat 16 (including driver and guide). Two days of customized guided tour of the sacred valley including Manos Animal Rescue Center (dozens of llamas/alpacas etc.), Pisac, Maras, Moray and Ollantaytambo. Chris was very knowledgeable and aware of the requirements of our diverse group. Furthermore, he steered clear of the tourist traps, and gave excellent restaurant recommendations.
Next two days were in Machu Picchu and again everything was perfectly planned - from hotel pickup, transfer to the train station, Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes, and two days of guided excursions to Machu Picchu. On day 2 we did the HuchuPicchu trek - Chris showed utmost concern for our comfort and safety, and made sure we all made it up the mountain and back down safely.
We followed that with three nights in Cusco including a Cusco City Tour and a trek up the Rainbow Mountain. Again Chris ensured we were comfortable - he carried anti-nausea meds, oxygen etc., ensured that the rides on horses or motorcycle up and down the mountain were arranged, etc.
From Cusco, we drove down to Puno and enjoyed two nights in Lake Titicaca. Michael had arranged another local guide in Puno (Henry), and he was equally knowledgeable and caring.
We spent a few more days in Lima on our own and immediately missed the amazing private tour experience that Tikas Peru offered.
Highly recommend Tikas Peru for a comfortable, hassle-free, informative and enriching experience.

We had an amazing time on our trip to Cusco thanks to Michael! He was an excellent tour guide that did our tour in English and Spanish. My husband speaks English and my parents Spanish so it was perfect!! The whole tour was beautiful and went smoothly. Highly recommend!!

Michael is the only tour guide that you will ever need. His knowledge, experience, and humor was absolutely excellent. Everything was very clear and his English was perfect. During the sacred valley and Machu Picchu tour he knew all the good spots for pictures and the best views. He has true passion about the sites and he even has a masters degree in history. Me and my girlfriend also chose to do the wayna picchu climb. Highly recommend!!!

We had a great experience working with Michael at Tikas! We used him for a tour in the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, and he was great to work with. Reasonable pricing, expertise in organizing travel in the Cusco area is incredibly important to making it a good experience. Tour guides that speak English and Spanish are a big advantage for Americans touring in Peru, and Tikas is great to communicate with. Traveling to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu requires numerous decisions, and Michael is a great advisor on coming up with an enjoyable trip with delicious food, beautiful views, friendly Peruvian people, and a chance to experience Peruvian culture. I can't wait to visit again and go on another tour!

I would like to share my wonderful experience about my trip to Machu Picchu
The service was outstanding and professional. Tikas took care of us from the beginning to the end of our trip. I highly recommend Tikas to everyone
They show us on the first day Sacred Valley , this place took our breath away , the wonderful and amazing Valley was something that we had never seen before
The second day was Machu Picchu and now I know why they called it the 7th wonder of the world . I would definitely come back to Peru and visit other places specially if Michael Flores from Tikas be our guide
