We booked this tour last minute not really knowing what we were going to visit and we were pleasantly surprised. We had a fantastic time and the 3 hours just flew by. Hichem was a very generous host with a good sense of humor! (Thank you Hichem!!) Keep track of the Arabic he will teach you as you will be quized! We can highly recommend this tour to get interesting insights on the history of Dubai and how it became to what it is today.

We were left behind coz we were 5 minutes late and the guide didn't help at all with the directions, the meeting point wasn't easy to find at all. Afterall we were able to find the group and joined but we felt rushed during the tour; no photo stops, only one toilet break , the snacks were too little just a half sandwich!!! The boat ride was too short only 3-5 minutes over the canal. We didn't try arabic coffee as advertised, all museums are closed so we didn't visit any!!! We were given tips about the prices before every market which would have been helpful 😕, we were brought to a shop in every market to buy so we didn't really use the tips and I guess the shops that we were brought to are having deals with the guide ....not recommended

I visited in May 2024. Right from booking till the end the service was amazing. Pick up and driver times were communicated in advance and everything was prompt. The guide Hichem was amazing, full if knowledge and ensured all the group were involved. His English is amazing and he ensured he answered all of our questions. Water was provided and street food of samosas, pakoras 👌👌. This trip is for children, adults and provides an amazing insight to Al fahdi district, visiting houses that have been preserved as they were all those years ago. Abra ride is a bonus and Hichem provided tips on buying items from deira market.

A very interesting tour showing a different side of Dubai - the old town, the boat ride, the souq visit and the enthralling lecture of Hichem about the history, traditions and lifestyle of the Emirati. Hichem told us so many interesting things, in such an engrossing way, that I would recommend him as a guide to everyone interested in this tour. He also gave us tips about shopping at the souq.

This tour was 10/10 - but it was made that because of our tour guide Hichem. He was amazing, he spoke fantastic English, gave us a comprehensive tour and history lesson of UAE, Dubai and Islam. He was friendly, accommodating and very funny too. I couldn't fault him or the tour, it gave us so much for our money and would highly recommend to all. Hichem, thank you, you are a legend!
