On this tour we go by our bikes and try to see some puffins, we have a special places on the island that we can see puffins, while we are driving there you can enjoy the beautiful view we have in Westman island. Then we end the tour by going into the Sea Life Trust museum, is a museum with Icelandic fish and birds.

The scooters are an interesting way to see the island, but be prepared as it is very cold. I was disappointed with this tour, as the owner of the business knew there were no puffins yet and still allowed me to booked the tour. This tour is very expensive for what it is, and it was a very disheartening experience for someone who’s primary reason for visiting the island was to see puffins.

I would have given this tour 5 - Stars but sadly as our guide said when we arrived the Puffins had flown away just a couple days before we go there to do the tour. However we didn't go all that way to not still enjoy ourselves and take an awesome scooter tour around the island with an excellent guide. The scooters really zip you along and were so much fun to ride I even checked online once we got home to see what one might set me back to purchase. While we did not see the puffins (what the wife really wanted to do) we got a great detailed tour of the island from playing golf in the summer at midnight to how things were when the volcano erupted back in the late 70s, to seeing puffins at the museum and also a couple of whales along with them. It was a great way to spend about 2 hours of the day and highly recommend that if you get the chance to take the tour. Side note on the ferry back to the mainland the wife did get to see her baby puffin and hold one as they had 2 that were found in town and being brought out to sea to be released on the cruise back so not all was lost on the puffin adventure!

Excellent tour with wonderful narration. Owner is young man whom is very friendly, kind and experienced with scootering. Fun and exhilarating tour with puffin viewing, volcano explosion explanation and Iceland folk lore stories. Conveniently located 5 minutes walking from cruise ship.

Had a great time, even in the wind. Perfect way to see the island and our guide was amazing. We saw puffins, learned about the history of the island and learning to ride the scooters was easy.

This is the perfect (quiet) way to experience the natural beauty of Heimay Island. The owners are very nice and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and thought it was a very fair value. Highly recommend. I had never ridden a scooter before - so experience not necessary.

The service by and interaction with Ingebjørg and Freddi was absolutely fantastic and delightful! The scooters were well kept and safe, and as promised by the title of the tour we saw puffins, beautiful landscape and interesting points of the island. I will definitely recommend this tour!!

Our tour was the highlight of my week long trip to Iceland! The family owned business took care of us and provided a personal touch. The ride was absolutely beautiful and the puffins were the icing on the cake! We learned a lot about the island and had a great time. I highly recommend Eyjascooter!
