You will be driven along the most panoramic routes of the outer coast of Kvaløya, the wilderness island facing the ocean to the west, with its fjords, valleys and beaches.
Charge your phone and be ready to take many photos on the way.

We run the tour even in rainy/snowy days. This is because the weather can change a lot in micro-climates between the fjords and mountains, providing us sometimes stunning views.
Bring warm clothes, even in summer.
It can be slippery on the places where we stop.
The guide may choose an alternative itinerary to the one presented in the description of the tour.
This tour requires a minimum of 4 people. If we do not reach the minimum amount of people, we will team up with one of our partners that runs a similar tour. In case we still do not get a minimum of 4 people, or we decide to cancel due to bad weather, you will be offered to change your tour to another day or get a refund.
The supplier will own full copyrights of any photo taken by us during our tours. They will upload photos of you to a third party web platform and monetize on the photos. They may also publish video footages of you. If you do not wish any photo of you to be published nor taken, please inform the provider, as well as your guide, before the tour and do not pose for the photographers.
You cannot claim a refund related to any issues with the vehicle used in the activities, as this is a service provided by a 3rd party company. Claims need to be addressed directly to the transport company.
You cannot claim a refund related to the weather conditions and temperatures perceived inside or outside the vehicle.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

We did 3 tours with Northern Shots: northern light, fjords and silent whale watching. All of them were great! The tour guides (Mirco, Marek and Fred) knew a lot of fun facts and kept the tours light and fun. Especially Marek who took a lot of photos of us for personal use during the fjord tour. Definitely recommend going with Northern Shots!

We went on both the Northern Lights Chase and the Fjord Photo Tour with the same photographer guide. We had booked the Photo Tour just so we could go to beautiful spots to take pictures. The bonus in this tour is all the beautiful pictures the guide can take of you in these stunning surroundings and it's all included in the package. This was the last day of our two month trip to Europe, which made it extra special. We also had delicious fish soup at one of the restaurants on Samoroy, also located in a beautiful spot.

We hopped on the minivan. It was small group of 7. We had several stops at some photograph worthy spots and we were able to see amazing landscapes, learned many things about living in Tromsø (thanks Luis for sharing your knowledge and experience), did a small hike to see beautiful scenery in Sommarøy Island, had the chance to experience the yummy fiskesuppe during lunch and to cap it all, we were greeted by a group of reindeers. Grateful for this experience and meeting beautiful people on this trip. I highly recommend it.

We had an amazing tour, the weather was lovely, we got some nice photos of the mountains, fjords, beaches and even reindeer that we met along the road. The local fish soup was really amazing and seeing the landscape and surroundings like this was worth the money. Highly recommended :)

I went to the Fjord Photo Tour with Northern Shots Tours and we went to Sommaroy where we can admire the best spots for the photography. It was a minivan trip with a professional photograph guide who gives some information about the Fjord and the landscapes. The meal was include on the price, we eat a traditional fish soup and it was really good. I think this is a must-do with Northern Shots because the guide is really nice and he give a lot of information and also because of the wonderful landscapes.

It was supposed to be the whole family, but it turned out to be just me. And I'm so pleased to have gone! There were three of us, and while it was quite cold (-6C to -8C with windchill), we enjoyed some gorgeous scenery, stopping in a number of places off the beaten path. We stopped multiple places where the only footprints belonged to us - which as you might imagine made for some gorgeous photos.
While I had intended to take the whole family, I suspect that the kids would have spent most of the time in the van, since they're not photographers. If your kids are, they might be more interested, but it's a couple of hours of driving and stopping otherwise.

We had a day spare on our Honeymoon and booked this tour in hope of seeing the sites and maybe some wildlife. We were greeted by our guide Rohit who was very friendly and cared a lot about us using the most of the daylight to see the views. He drove us around the most beautiful sceneries and had so much information to tell us about the area. We visited the open air museum, frozen lake and many fantastic fjords. Rohit helped with my camera settings and took photos of myself and my husband as well. We even managed to get up close to a herd of reindeer which was our perfect end to our trip.

The tour was totally worth it! Would definitely recommend this if you are in Tromso. We spotted moose, reindeers and spent time on frozen lakes. Our guide, Rohit ensured we were comfortable and was well versed with the region. It was a memorable experince.

Very disappointed to be honest. The professional photographer / guide was from Columbia and hardly knew much about Norway. We aren't visiting norway to do chit chats with ppl.He should have researched a bit of the culture. We were taken to places which I didn't feel was the best.saw fellow travellers pics from other tours and they were way better than hours.we couldn't even see a reindeer and the guide kept promising he'll show it. We wasted the whole day in the car and ended up feeling sleepy and tired. The professional photographer taught me nothing.i was interested to learn and he didn't even answer my questions with any info. Frankly so disappointed as we know Fjord is stunning. We booked this even if there were no reviews. I think it as a mistake. Never book without a good and genuine review. Utter wastage of time effort and our precious holiday time
