My daughter and I have little dance experience but wanted to learn about flamenco and try it out before watching a show. Nico was warm, fun, and super patient with us, and broke down some of the basic flamenco moves so even we beginners could manage. He also taught us some of the basics about flamenco beats and styles so later, when we went to the show, we knew a bit about what we were watching and could appreciate the very talented performers. A highlight of our visit to Seville; thank you Nico!!!

The most appreciated part of this evening was talking and learning from a Real Flamenco dancer.
Kati is so knowledgeable and so friendly. She showed us the famous neighborhood, fed us delicious tappas in a restaurant and placed us in the front row in her club with more tappas served. She performed Flamenco gracefully with tons of energy. Her partner, singer and guitarist were just as good, making the whole team amazing. It was just beautiful to watch and appreciate this difficult dance.
Highly recommend this evening in Seville/Triana

Hands down the best activity we did in Sevilla, and that included over 8 days of excursions and activities in Sevilla. Kati is an amazing and authentic teacher. She also happens to be very beautiful and engaging and my sons and I (they are in college) had a blast learning the history and art form of flamenco. What an amazing cultural heritage.
Kati was also in the show we saw in Triana along with a really fantastic group. I'm so glad we did that option! I highly advise to do both the studio lesson and the show. We feel like we really understand and appreciate this art form so much now.
Class A performance. And Kati is truly a top notch professional. Thank you so much!

I had a one to one private flamenco dancing less. It was SO great! Kathy was really friendly, energetic and knowledgable about the art of flamenco. She immediately put me at ease and was really inspiring and and really talented dancer. By the end we completed a little flamenco dance routine. I loved it and would like to learn more.

We loved our dance lessons from Nico. He could tell us alot about the history of Flamenco and the city Sevilla. He was also good in giving us a dance routine that suits us. Since we were beginners it was nice that he made it easy enough to follow. It was a good start of the holiday since we could understand the Flamenco better when visiting Flamenco shows afterwards. Nico was a very good dancer but also a very knowledgable person who could answer all our questions.

Our dance lesson with Constanza was great fun. Very interesting to understand the structure of the dance and to be able to dance a small choreography by the end.
Don't be put off by the location, it is a rented studio in a community arts facility in an old sombrero factory. We were initially concerned as we walked out of the tourist areas bit there was nothing to worry about.
The evening show was impressive and intimate in a small bar. I do think that there are better places to watch flamenco in Sevile.

We felt we had an amazing introduction to the art of flamenco with Nico. He was an excellent and patient instructor with an exceptional flamenco background, and he was clearly passionate about flamenco. This instruction truly helped us enjoy the phenomenal flamenco show afterwards.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Nico. Not nearly long enough to truly learn Flamenco but long enough for my dancing daughter to love and respect the style.

I received a gift for a voucher for an experience with Not Just a Tourist and I was so excited to see all the options for activities and experiences! My boyfriend and I were able to do the flamenco dance lesson with tapas and drinks afterward. It was an amazing experience and I fell even more in love with Sevilla! Thank you Not Just a Tourist!

It was a lovely experience. Prior communication was great via the booking app & Whatsapp , they ensured I had the information I needed. When I met with Eva, we went to the studio and I was lucky enough to be the only person so I had a great one to one class. We practiced footwork and hands and with music as well, Eva was patient and explained thoroughly. Afterwards, she took note of my dietary requirements as we went for a tapa afterwards. They also suggested a flamenco show which they organised for me, at Flamenco Esencia which was great and intimate. Would recommend!
