We continue on with our tastings we will pass through the city center strolling along it's cobble stoned streets getting glimpses of the magnificent Duomo along the way.

Stop At: Basilica di San Lorenzo, Piazza di San Lorenzo 9, 50123, Florence Italy
See the famous church of the Medici family as we pass by on our way to our tastings. We will have a few different tastings at local shops near the Church of San Lorenzo.

We loved that we got to explore a local neighborhood outside of the craziness of the city center. On this tour we got to see what it is like for locals, where they do their shopping, have their coffee, and enjoy the day to day! Each tasting was wonderful and you can tell that it was well thought out so that we could try many different local specialties! Thank you for a wonderful tour!

This tour was the perfect amount of culture, history, and great food! We loved rubbing elbows with the other locals while enjoying the products that they are clearly so passionate about!

We loved this tour! We didn’t want to leave the fresh market. It was so great to walk around and dream about tasting everything there! We ended up going back to a couple of the shops where we stopped the next day!

Christy was so knowledgeable and gave us a fantastic tour which allowed us to sample some delicious produce and also find out more about the city. We weren’t sure what to expect but we had plenty to eat, definitely no lunch needed! We travelled as a family with daughters aged 21 and 19. Christy had a great rapport with the owners of all the eateries we visited and even arranged a happy birthday rendition en route. Worth doing the tour earlier on in your stay as you will be sure to want to return to the places she introduces. Thank you Christy!

From the moment we met Christy, her energy and love for Florence shone through. The tour was the perfect mix of local bites and cultural immersion. We left with full stomachs and talking about when our next trip to Florence will be!

The food tour with Christy was the highlight of our day in Florence, and one of our favorite experiences during our time in Tuscany. It felt less like a tour and more like we were experiencing the city with a close friend. Everything we ate was incredible, and she was so helpful to offer additional tips and recommendations for us to see even after our time with her. We can't recommend this enough! Thank you, Christy!

We had a food tour of Florence today with Christy, and it has been a highlight of our trip to Italy. Christy is very engaging and extremely knowledgeable about all things Florence, including the food scene. We toured a local market where we ate one of the most incredible snacks - a lightly fried pastry called a coccolia stuffed prosciutto and melted cheese. Other highlights were a roasted pork/truffle sandwich on foccacia, pastry, fresh biscotti, and the best gelato. Christy knows the shop owners, and everyone took great care of us. If you're going to Florence, take advantage of booking this tour with Christy. You will absolutely love it.
