The most fun thing we’ve done in Italy! Our tour guide, Ludo, was amazing and very knowledgeable. Lunch was delicious. The Vespa ride was so much fun. Make sure you know how to drive something motorized on two wheels! There were a few other people who couldn’t safely drive so they had to ride with someone else. I will recommend this tour to anyone I know who is going to Florence.

Absolutely amazing trip. Chris and Gabby were great tour guide who ensured everyone felt safe and had a great time. We explored beautiful areas & scenic roads, with a few stops where our guides shared interesting facts, knowledge and stories and we were allowed some free time to explore further by ourselves. After the morning ride, we then stopped at the most beautiful location for our lunch, which did not disappoint. There was plenty of food to go around, with pasta and a cheese and meat board to finish (as well as a glass of wine which was a lovely touch). The tour was the perfect length and something we will remember and talk about for the rest of our lives. Massive thanks again to Gabby and Chris for making the trip so brilliant. Something you cannot miss when you go to Florence

It rained the day of our Vespa tour, but we had a great time thanks to our tour guides. They provided us with rain gear to protect us from the light rain and the inevitable water from the road. The sights of the Tuscan back roads were amazing and the story telling of our guide was informative and enjoyable. The lunch was delicious and just the right amount. Including the small glass of wine which was just enough to add flavor without impairing your senses.

We had a great time on the Vespa tour last week. Dario was an excellent guide! He was serious about safety and professional. He was also very funny and managed the group dynamics well!

Great tour led by our group tour guide Chris. The duration of the tour was just right with the briefing, orientation, sharing, riding, and eating. The group size was also split to not more than 8 vespas which was great. Chris had such great knowledge on the the sites he brought us to. Explained them superbly. Overall we had an enjoyable time and would recommend this to others. Thank you

Lovely day trip to the country side outside of the Florence city center. The guides were awesome and the vespas in excellent shape. We saw beautiful rolling hills, villas, cypress trees and olive trees. We even stopped to see an overhead view of the city. Wonderful lunch provided in a beautiful location! I suggest being familiar with driving powered vehicles in order to drive the Vespa safely as some people were very unfamiliar and nervous and had to instead ride in a vintage car (still cool!).

The actual riding outside of the city in the countryside was the best part of the tour! Lydia was awesome and she was very informative and friendly throughout the tour. I was a bit confused at the start of the tour, since we got on buses and drove to the Vespa garage closer to the country side. Not an issue, just an FYI. The only reason we did not give it 5 stars is the size of the group. The description said no more than 20 but we had over 30 in the group. This meant that we were broken up into groups and since we were not in the first group, had to wait almost an hour and a half into our scheduled tour time to have everyone test and then get going. Perhaps it rained the day prior and they moved folks around, but that was definitely a bit of frustration.

We absolutely loved our Vespa tour! Both Chris and Dario were amazing. Everything was well organised and the route was beautiful - we enjoyed learning some interesting facts about the area. And to top it off, lunch was delicious. We highly recommend Walk About Tours.

We hesitated to book this adventure but we are so glad we did! We really didn’t have much experience and were worried it might not work out. My husband and I did this with our two young adult children. Chris and Gabriel were our guides for the day and they were exceptional at helping us feel comfortable and preparing us for the test drive and giving us the safety rules. Once that was done, we were on our way. Our group divided and we went with Gabriel. The scenery was beyond beautiful and our stops to learn more about the area and the history were informative. We ended with a dinner outside, farm to table style, overlooking a beautiful field and winery. We did a lot on our trip to Italy but this excursion was on the top of our list. Oh, and we thought about sharing vespas but everyone having their own was the way to go. Thank you Chris and Gabriel for a wonderful afternoon.
