Itinerary
Don't miss out on Bioluminescent Kayaking at Haulover Canal in Titusville. Kayaking through bioluminescent water is truly a magical sight to behold, and it's an experience that you'll remember all your life.
Bioluminescence is a natural phenomenon. Our cooler water bioluminescent experience is the Bioluminescent Comb-Jellyfish. These jellyfish light up blue when they are disturbed, creating a surreal and magical effect in the water. In the summer, dinoflagellates are present, which are single-celled, planktonic organisms. They naturally produce light so when the water is disturbed in which they are in a bright blue-green light glows. When you kayak through the sparkling water, you’ll feel like you are in another world.
Florida-Adventurer’s Bioluminescence Kayaking Tour is locally owned and operated. We know the best spots in Merritt Island Nature Reserve. Our certified tour guides are knowledgeable about the area and they will share interesting facts about the bioluminescence and other wildlife we’re sure you’ll meet along the way.
Please be sure to make your reservations early as this Florida kayak tour tends to book out 2 weeks in advance.

It was an amazing experience! Some people in our group couldnt swim, but we felt safe the entire time and thourougly enjoyed the calm kayaking and getting to explore Floridas wildlife. Our tour guide, Brian was incredibly kind, and made sure we felt safe and had a great time. Every time we saw an animal, he identified it and made sure we got a great look while keeping a good distance to not disturb it. He is the best!!! Glad we chose Florida Adventurer. Had an amazing time. :)

We had a great time on the water with our guide Brian. He was very friendly and had immense knowledge of the animals and wildlife in and around the Canaveral National Seashore.
We did not get to see any bioluminescent plankton, but did see many illuminating jellyfish in the water. It was a fun time under the stars... highly recommend.

Kate was absolutely the best tour guide there could ever be. So knowledgeable! Although we didn’t see much of the bioluminescence (off season) she made it so informative and educational and fun to explore.

Wonderful experience! Our daughter is attending NSU this coming fall to study marine biology and she loves jellyfish! Brian was a perfect guide to bringing us around to find bioluminescence comb jellyfish!
I would suggest to book on a new moon night like we did!

What a fun experience. While it wasn’t peak season for max bioluminescence, just being in the water and hearing the night time noises was so peaceful. We had such a great time and will definitely do this again.

First time going night kayaking, and it was a worthwhile experience, especially with the unique wildlife in this area. Very informed and conversational guide with a lot to educate us with about the area. Started and ended on time. Wish I remembered the bug spray! Would recommend this tour!

Brian is an amazing guide. He showed us so many beautiful water creatures and allowed us to catch some with his net. He was very patient with our kayaking skills, LOL.
I would highly recommend using them as your kayaking your guide and do ask for Brian. Woot woot!
But plan coming during summer, we visited in mid November.
