Stop At: Sawgrass Recreation Park, 1006 N US Highway 27 2 miles north of i75, on the east side of US HWY 27, FL 33327-7700
Skim across the grassy water at speeds up to 40 miles per hour while looking for wildlife like alligators, fish, turtles, and wading birds. This general admission ticket includes entrance to Sawgrass Recreation Park, a 30-40 minute guided airboat tour and an admission to our Alligator & Reptile Exhibit.
Just 25 minutes from Fort Lauderdale, the safest and most entertaining and educational way to experience the Everglades’ unique subtropical ecosystem is at Sawgrass Recreation Park.

Reservation date and time required. Tours leave every 30 minutes from 9:30am to 3:30pm
Any age child can enjoy the airboat tour. Children 3 years and under are free. It is not necessary to purchase a ticket for ages 3 years and under.

Most travelers can participate
Tour operator reserves the right to cancel the tour due to inclement weather
If you have selected the 4 p.m. time please note that it is a check in time only and that your airboat adventure will be leaving the dock at 5 p.m. so that you have ample time to explore the exhibit areas before they close at 5 p.m.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

This was well worth the money. We were in a boat of 21 and Jimmy our guide was very helpful. He made it clear that we may not see the alligators as they would potentially be in the mud under water but we saw a total of 4, even staying out on the water past our allotted time so we could see the final one. Being on the boat was good fun. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was due to poor management of the queue. They wanted to stop us before getting on the boat to take a picture but allowed four people to jump the line and get the front seat.

The staff was nice and we enjoyed our experience overall. We saw like 3 gators, but wish we saw more.

Loved the experience with captain jack! We were able to see a few alligators. Safe experience. Was a little scared but It was a fun activity. I’d highly recommend doing this activity. It was very fun.

I will give a 5/5 because our guide was very informative and tried really hard to locate gators…..he only succeeded in finding one..l.certainly not his fault

We enjoyed our tour very much, and captain disco was awesome.
We were lucky to see a few alligators.
It’s not very expensive tour for 40 minutes.

Good quick stop. Airboat ride lasted about 40 minutes which is just about right with small kids. Got to see a few alligators. Not sure I’d want to hang around for the two hour ride though.
The quick exhibits out back were cool too.

Location was not particularly wild, as next to highway, buildings visible, and much of the time spent on a man made canal (people were riding bikes nearby).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Shane, he taught us all about the animals and his passion for his job was evident. Airboat ride was very cool! Saw lots of wildlife.

Great time! We got to see gators on the airboat ride! Our tour guide was very informative and had a great sense of humor, which made the airboat ride a lot of fun! the staff were very helpful and nice! Food at the Gator grill was very good! The staff there were very friendly! We loved the peacocks that were walking around! To make a fun day even better, my husband’s wallet fell out of his pocket. One of the staff at the Gator Grill found it and came and found us to give it back to him! We were very impressed by the thoughtfulness of this guy! Thank you all so much for making our trip to Sawgrass so fun and memorable! Highly recommend!
