Two 16th century well-preserved public washhouses built by the Knights of St John may be seen on either side of Spring Street in the village of Fontana. The larger one is locally known as the Ghajn il-Kbira meaning the ‘large spring’. The smaller one is Ghajn Bendu, ‘Bendu’s Spring’.

Stop At: Wied il-Mielah Window, Mielah Valley, Gharb, Island of Gozo Malta

This massive limestone arch is currently the last surviving rock-arch window in Gozo. It is a natural geological formation jutting out from the cliff walls. The winding valley on its flank is called Wied il-Mielah, translatable as ‘Salt Valley’. This 29-metre-high structure is a massive block of coralline limestone strong enough to withstand the force of large sea-waves, salt erosion, and wind action.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Ghasri, Ghasri, Island of Gozo

Wied l-Għasri, is a marvelous place for a quad ride, especially in winter and spring. The valley begins at Ta’ Dbieġi Hill before winding down through the village of l-Għasri, and on between iż-Żebbuġ and Ta’ Ġurdan Hill to meet the sea between impressive cliffs. The very narrow and secluded bay is also a haven for those who seek a quiet bathing area

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Xwejni Salt Pans, Zebbug, Island of Gozo Malta

Xwejni is home to the Salt Pans, which are, as the name suggests, pans cut out of the rock where Gozitans still make salt to this day. The pans stretch for many kilometres.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Qbajjar Bay Beach, Triq Santa Marija, Zebbug, Island of Gozo ZBG 3681 Malta

The Qolla l-Bajda Battery, also known as the Qbajjar Battery, is one of the many defensive structures built in the Hospitaller period, and continued to be used by Britain in World War I and World War II. When it was originally built, it was made up of two blockhouses, a gun platform, a parapet and a small ditch.

These enabled it to provide defense to invading forces. The blockhouses had small gun-holes, in case of an attack from land. Now, this historic monument lies abandoned.

Had a great time riding the quad bikes with Dave our guide. They were easy to learn to ride and I felt quite safe. It took us all round the island with plenty of stops. We then had a speed boat ride to the blue lagoon - lovely coloured seas.

This is the trip you don't want to miss out on, we went to celebrate my partner's birthday and it did not disappoint. Our tour guide Dave is half British and half Maltese so understood us, but more importantly, had a great love for Gozo which was infectious! The beautiful scenery was breathtaking, with lots of history, local knowledge and stops that gave us a true flavour of the Gozo Island life! We no longer attend church on a regular basis (don't judge), but seeing the detail and the feeling at some of the church stops was awesome. From start to finish the tour did not disappoint. Our pick-up point was a few minutes walk from our hotel, the ferry crossing to Gozo was smooth and on the way back we had the most beautiful views via the Blue Lagoons which added more value for money! Lunch was not too bad, and it was nice to eat Maltese food and meet Maltese people. The stop at Fontana introduce more of the Maltese culture and riding Quad Bike up in convey felt very cool! This tour really is for everyone! Thanks Dave for a great experience!

Fantastic time with our guide Mahmoud. He was knowledgeable, attentive and had such a good sense of humor. What a perfect way to see Gozo; on the road w/sunshine & fresh air. Tour description says 7 hrs but with travel time it’s more like 11-12 hrs so be prepared!

"Including lunch" (which is a joke, a glass of tap water and a pasta "pie" worth of 2€ on the Street on a tour that cost me 250€ Rude operator! I was late 5minutes and left without us,I had to pay taxi to catch up with them at the ferry and when I arrived there I was waiting for them 25 minutes! They are allowed to come late even for 30 minutes but when the tourists are late they just let them behind because you already paid for everything! A joke company!
