In the Plaza de Armas, in front of the Palacio de Congresos, a bronze sculpture reminds us of the city's traditions and folklore. The namurenses have a reputation for being slow and therefore their symbol is the snail. Two gastropods are represented here alongside Djoseph and Françwès, the main characters of caricaturist Jean Legrand, who slowly wander through the streets of Namur, worried about the rain and the sun.
