Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Barrika, Barrika, Province of Vizcaya, Basque Country

King’s Landing. Here we saw Davos, Tyrion and Gendry. On season seven the Gold Cloaks try to stop Tyrion from leaving King’s Landing and when Davos can’t buy their silence, Gendry decides to act.

⚠ On occasion the path to Barrika and San Juan de Gaztelugatxe might be closed due to weather conditions. This does NOT mean a cancellation of the tour.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Castillo de Butron, Butron Auzoa Urduliz, 48110 Spain

While it wasn’t featured on Game of Thrones, this castle has a fairy-tale look about it inspired by Bavarian castle models. It is a perfect place to take photos and feel like a lord or a lady of Winterfell.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, Bermeo Spain

Dragonstone. Here is where Daenerys and Jon Snow meet for the first time. In real life, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is not a big castle but a small hermitage on the top of 241 steps located on the Basque coast.

⚠On occasion the path to Barrika and San Juan de Gaztelugatxe might be closed due to weather conditions. This does NOT mean a cancellation of the tour.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Puerto Viejo Bermeo, Nardiz Tar Benanzio Kaia, 48370 Bermeo Spain

Here we will stop to have some free time to have lunch as Bermeo is very well known for its pintxos, tapas and local wine called txakolí.

Duration: 1 hour

Pass By: Gernika Lumoko Udala, San Juan Ibarra Plaza, 6, 48300 Gernika-Lumo, Bizkaia, Spain

On a small hillock in the town, stands the Meeting House and the famous Tree of Gernika. By ancient tradition, Basques, and indeed other peoples in Medieval Europe, held assemblies under a tree, usually an oak, to discuss matters affecting the community.

Stop At: Playa de Itzurun, 20750 Zumaia Spain

When we see Daenerys stepping on her true home for the first time, she is actually stepping on a 60 million year old beach. Zumaia’s Flysch dates from the mid-cretaceous period to the present, a time period of over 100 million years.

Great place. Real world, not like a lot of European cities which are a bit ‘Disney’. We did a food tour & a bicycle tour, both of which taken by local Basque guides. Brilliant and the grub fantastic!

The Tour was amazing! I would highly recommend it to any GoT fan! Maria was a great guide and very knowledgeable about all the inside information on the series and the different places along the tour. Although the two guides had to deal with a flat tire which caused a bit of a delayed start, Maria adjusted the tour plan so that we still got to have the full experience. It was an absolutely great tour from start to finish.

I did the half day tour last year as it was all I could fit into my schedule. This year, I booked the full day tour, and it was SO worth it! Three major Game of Thrones filming sites to visit and a bonus castle to visit for a photo stop, Plenty of time at each location for photos and an ample hour for lunch (not included). The tour never felt rushed and the guide and driver were the best!

We enjoyed the tour however our tour guide is not too accommodating. We were told that if we missed the time to go back to the bus, they will leave and we need to catch a bus to the next stop. That stressed us out and rush everything to ensure that we're not going to be left behind.

Even people who have never heard of GoT will love this fantastic tour of the coast. We saw three beaches, one castle and one church and had a great lunch at Barrika. Highly recommended! Word of caution: The stairs and trails at San Juan are quite steep and exhausting, Make sure you wear proper shoes and carry water with you. The view is well worth the effort, though.

We booked the full day Game of Thrones tour and it didn’t disappoint. The tour guides were very informative, friendly, and provided very interesting information on and both game of thorns locations and the history of the areas. The tour bus was very modern, clean and comfortable. It was nice to enjoy the beautiful scenery with someone else driving. We would highly recommend this tour.

Scenery was beautiful. Thought the whole tour was in English. Nothing said about bi lingual until we arrived. Felt a lot more was shared in Spanish and the majority of clips shown from the series were in Spanish. Guides were knowledgeable and good
