I Took the Safari with my Dutch family. What can I say? Gary ("The goat killer"). Was our tour guide. He was a pure treasure,....He made the trip, with his banter and infectious energy!!..
Great journey.....the views are amaaazing up there.😲I'd go back again just for the chats with Gary tho!!!!🐐😂😂🤣👍

A great experience from being picked up to being dropped back after. The guide was very knowledgeable and attentive with lots of fun facts and the views were stunning. Lunch was great and they catered for my wife's dietary requirements easily. Would highly recommend to any one visiting the island to get a real feel of the culture that you miss out on in the tourist areas.

My wife and I had a really interesting trip around the mountains and the central plateau of East Crete in an 8 person Landrover. The driver was very informant and knew a lot about everything we met on the tour. His name was Darrel, and he was English, but have lived more than 30 years in Crete. The trip included a cery nice lunch, with different local foods, water and wine. A wonderful day.

If I could give Daryl 6 stars, I would! He was like the papa of all the tour guides and they were all very funny the entire day. We saw a beautiful historic town where we olive oil and raki tasted. We tasted cheese on the side of a mountain while visiting the goats. We had a locals type lunch. What a fantastic tour! I’d you aren’t afraid of heights, do not miss this.

We had an amazing time on this tour with our guide, Jason. I am convinced he could have taken us anywhere and it would have been entertaining with his wealth of knowledge and humor, but it was enhanced by the amazing views and unique experiences of Crete. The tour was extremely well organized from pickup to drop-off even with a fairly large group of 8 people in the Land Rover. This ended up being one of my wife and I's top highlights of our 10 day Greece trip, and we couldn't recommend it more!

George our tour guide was a fountain of information on all things in Crete. Going through the mountains and stopping at certain spots gave a good insight to the cultural heritage of the country. George was definitely not a bore and kept the tour upbeat and fun.
The picturesque scenery of the mountain's mixed with goats and their kids was novel for me.
As a family the children really enjoyed the off-roading in the Landrover.
Highly recommend if you want to see some authentic Crete ways of life and living. Learn about how they are farming with the olives trees. Taste some authentic cuisines- and see the local villages - this is a highly pleasant experience.

An informative & engaging tour guide. With Darrel (& his sense of humour)We learned so much about Crete; its history, geography, flora, fauna. The lunch was excellent! Time was well scheduled. Don’t miss the option of visiting the cave.

We went on a jeep safari trip with English Chris and it was fantastic. He's very friendly and knowledgeable and has a good sense of humour.
We went off road into the mountains and visited mountain villages and a goat cheese farm. The views were amazing.
We visited Zeus's cave and had then went to a nearby taverna for a Cretan lunch. The food was delicious and plenty of it. A really good day out and I would recommend it.

My tour guide was so easy to listen to and fun. His dad jokes were great, and he shared lots and lots of really interesting facts/information. I actually want to do the tour again because it was that good. Plus, the views were stunning. He helped take lots of pictures as I did the event on my own. The best part was the raki, of course! The local markets and restaurants were so lovely too.
