Full-day Massage and Hot Spring Spa Package in Krabi

Wow what an incredible day. Picked up from our hotel in Ao Nang by a driver from Wareerak Spa and driven about an hour and a half to the resort. Di t know what to expect but I was not not disappointed, the resort is low key, tropical, bamboo structures and set in beautiful grounds. We compared our registration and our bold pressure was taken, whilst enjoying a welcome butterfly pea drink. The treatments and itinerary for the day were explained before we were lead off into the jungle to a wooden hut for our 1 hour Thai massage, appropriate clothing was provided. The atmosphere was very tranquil and relaxing and I would say it’s one of the finest Thai massages I have ever had, and I’ve had quite a few, it was my partners first and they are now a convert. We then went to lunch in a simple open structure restaurant, this is included in the price. We were served a refreshing coconut whilst we waited for our food to arrive. We were served, chicken satay, papaya salad with shrimp, Thai soup, stir fried vegetables and rice, this is a preset meal, it was all fresh and delicious. Tea and Coffee is also included if you want it. After lunch it was time for the remaining treatments, this started with some warm up exercises, breathing exercises, not very intensive and good fun. Next a shower before the body scrub, a fragrant mix of herbs, rice and yogurt, the therapist spreads it on your arms, back, chest, stomach and legs and them massages to exfoliate before helping you shower it off. Next are the hot spring pools, these are in a beautiful lush area, each semi private and consisting of a series of three pools, hot (and I mean hot), warm and cold. 10 minutes in each and rotate around 3 times. After this and still sat in the cold pool our therapist gave us our final treatment, a head, neck and back massage with a herbs, amazing. Finally we had a try at Thai craft, making flowers from leaves, good fun but so difficult. We said goodbye to our lovely therapists Oylee and Downie (Sorry about the spelling) before buying a beer from the bar and walking across the gardens to take a look at the “Hot Waterfall”. The reception called the driver and we returned to our hotel. The experience was fantastic, everything was wonderful. We will return next time we are in Krabi, and hopefully stay a night or two in the hotel. Awesome and highly recommended

This is a well run and organised full day trip. The location is fantastic and the setting well thought out. After taking our blood pressure, we changed and put our valuables in a locker. You can either wear your own swimming costume or they can provide clothing. The pools are well maintained, beautiful man made pools with the spring water brought in. The natural pools look very muddy! After some warm up exercises, we had use of three pools, warm, hot (42 degrees) and cool. We moved between the 3 pools a few times to get the best benefits. We then went in to lunch, several very tasty dishes plus fruit and soft drinks. We then had a walk in the beautiful grounds before our massage. Which is a traditional Thai massage for health, where you wear a cotton suit, not an oil massage. It was excellent and we felt much better afterwards. We then took part in a handicraft lesson where we made a bunch of flowers using leaves cut from the garden. An excellent experience, and the transportation was excellent too. We were provided with plenty of bottled water throughout the day as part of the package.

The massage was a bit rough (left a couple of bruises) but everything else was amazing to include the lunch.

Very relaxing experience in beautiful natural setting. Hot & warm water pools are set among lush green landscape next to the hot springs. Therapists are very well trained and courteous. They look after every minute detail to ensure that you have very relaxing and fulfilling experience. Vegetarian food was quite delicious.

We were picked up and driven to the resort where we were given some clothes to change in to. We were then taken off to a private hut for a 1 hour Thai massage which was extremely relaxing and refreshing. After the massage, we were taken to the restaurant for some lunch which included a couple of Thai curry's, some fantastic spring rolls, rice and some drinks. After lunch we were taken to the hot springs to relax and were given yet another massage on our neck and shoulders including some natural body scrub plus some yoga (more breathing exercises than actual yoga). After this we were taught how to make flowers from grass which was an interesting end to the days proceedings. After this we were taken back to the hotel. This was a fantastic experience and well worth the cost.

Natural springs in a jungle setting about an hour out of Krabi. They were very accomodating for our last minute inquiry, booking transport (minivan) to/from our hotel and full day activities including: Spa Package : Full Day Spa Kinnaree Long Song (5hrs) Price is 2,550 per person. Transfer service at lobby 9.00 am Program Duration : 10:00am.-15:00 pm. Upon arrival, we weren’t really greeted as much as told to sit and rest, and given some blue drink that we assumed was butterfly pea tea. We were then shown to the change/bathrooms and told to get into their garb which was pants and tops. There was confusion about this, as we’d worn our swimsuits, but they were pretty Adamant to change. They provided lockers with locks and keys that you kept on your wrist, and the bathroom spray clean and neat. • Warm-up exercise - a few minutes of deep breathing in our new outfits • Homemade organic scrub - we put on ourselves then rinsed ourselves in their outdoor showers. • Hydrotherapy program in hot and cold pools - instructed to start in a warm pool then switch to hot then cold, then alternate four times. • Aqua Thai yoga stretch - after our fourth switch, we sat on the outside of the pools and did more deep breathing. This was fine but really not worth anything special. • Neck and shoulder massage with herbal compress (20 mins) - we were taken to another area of pools and told to sit woth our feet in the water. The massage was firm enough and quite nice. After the pools, we were taken back to the hut and asked to change out of the wet clothes into scrub-like clothes that we wore for the rest of the time. • Wellness set lunch - very nice meal of chicken soup, rice, kimchi like stuff but far less spicy, lemongrass side dish that tasted like floor cleaner, coconut water (from the coconuts) and fruit. It was light but delicious and my term girls ate most of it. • Thai massage (60 mins) we were taken to a back cabin which had fans going, and we all got massages at the same time. They were intense but good and the women would modify based on your input. • Thai handicraft lesson - a 5-10 min instruction on how to make rose shapes out of leaves. All in all, it was a nice way to spend a day but I wouldn’t put it as a must do. The massage wasn’t any better than the many others you can get, but the spring water was nice. They have done it nicely but a few more signs identifying the heat of the pools, and a wee bit more English would have been helpful. I’d suggest just to go for the water and maybe a massage. The extras aren’t really much of anything.

Wonderful full day £66 each for me and my partner! Ladies were lovely and it was a really relaxing day! Couldn’t recommend it more. We went out of season so it was very quiet only one other person was at the spa. very nice to have the ladies with us all day.
