Walking up the slopes to view glacier and see ice formations. The surface you walk on has Swiss cheese holes where rocks have melted into ice. Several areas of blue ice. Not extremely difficult. Lots of help from guide for those who felt was a bit slippery. Bus ride out with ? Isa/ila??? was great. Friendly and informative

The guides on the bus and ice were big part of the positive vibe from the whole experience. Ice and mud flows, drinking glacial water, and the sun breaking through the clouds on the ice were the other unexpected surprises.Highly recommend.

My guide Petra was very aware and went over the safety precautions and guidelines. She explained the different type of ice formations on the glacier as well as advising the importance of walking in her footsteps and staying directly behind her in a single file. It was amazing to be out on the glacier and hear the river and streams and no other noise. It was so quiet and beautiful. My driver, Ina, also was awesome and very engaging. She was very detailed in the Alaskan history of the glacier, as well as pointing out wildlife, fisheries, and the custom and culture of the natives. Ina was a gem. She was a plethora of information. We even saw a moose and I was able to capture very good video. This was a once in a lifetime experience that I'll never forget. Absolutely breathtaking!

Just getting to walk on the glacier and our terrific guide Nick and riding on the snow machine on the way back at end of tour. It was an awesome day on the glacier. My trip was complete after this and seeing the Northern Lights.

We waffled on whether or not to do this due to the cost, and because we're not really "tour group" people, but at the last minute I booked a tour. (You can't get onto the glacier without a guided tour). It ended up the highlight of our trip. The glacier is just gorgeous. Truly otherworldly. The guide was personable and informative without being always in your face or talking nonstop. He allowed time for people to just take it all in. It never felt canned or rushed. The hike itself is not too strenuous (you don't have to be athletic to do it). If you only book one tour while in Alaska, this is the one to do.

Such a unique experience. The glacier was spectacular, and the tour runs seamlessly. We loved hiking on the ice and climbing in the ice caves.

Excellent trip! Dan was our tour guide and he was just amazing. He told us fun facts on the way over, made sure we all ate well on the way back and so thoughtful throughout. One of the nicest persons I have met! Thomas was our guide in the glacier and he, too, was awesome. Really funny too! Took amazing pictures of us and was extremely patient with the group. Could not have had a better time - so glad that I did this.

The drive up there was breath taking and my driver was amazing. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. My tour guide, Tom, for the actual hike was wonderful. I enjoyed the glacier and his conversation. Very funny and nice. The glacier was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I am so glad I went and would love to go back some day. 10 out of 10!
