Stop At: Diamond Head State Monument, 18th Ave. Waikiki, Honolulu, Oahu, HI 96815

Our first stop is at Diamond Head Lookout. Diamond Head is an extinct volcano and the most iconic landmark for Hawaii. We will take you to the scenic lookout facing the beautiful south shore. Stop At: Halona Blowhole, Kalanian'ole Highway, Oahu, HI 96825

Continuing on the shoreline passing by Hanauma Bay and Koko Head Crater, we'll take you to witness a spectacular blowhole that was formed thousands of years ago from the volcanic Koko Crater. When the waves crash onto this volcanic rock formation, the lava tube forces the ocean water to blow up like a geyser over 50 ft. high. You can also see layers beyond layers of past volcanic extinction activities from this scenic point.

Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Eternity Beach, Kalaniana'ole Highway, Honolulu, Oahu, HI 96825

Nestled below the highway from the Koko Crater, you will find a gorgeous "secret" beach. During low tides, you can see people jumping off the lower cliffs and swimming in this beautiful secluded beach. It’s also known as Eternity Beach famed by the 1953 movie “From Here to Eternity”.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Makapu'u Point, Kalaniana'ole Hwy turnout above Makapu'u Beach, Oahu, HI 96795

Traversing the narrow winding road from Sandy beach and Halona Blowhole, we'll arrive at the most beautiful southern tip of the island. Along the way, you'll see spectacular cliffs that drop off thousands of feet to the ocean due to volcanic activities. It is a sight to behold with clear, turquoise ocean water and Rabbit Island in the background. Perfect for Instagram selfies or hang-it-on-the-wall kind of family photos.

Duration: 10 minutes

Pass By: Waimanalo, Waimanalo, Oahu, Hawaii

As we escape the southern volcanic tip of Oahu, we'll continue our journey through the lush rainforest and Ko'olau Mountains on the windward coastline. Along the route, you'll see some of most gorgeous white sand beaches starting with Waimanalo beach that stretches for miles with clear, turquoise-blue Pacific Ocean water.

So much rain that it was impossible to exit the vehicle on the last half of the tour. Seats so close that my knees kept rubbing on the seat in front on me. Couldn’t hear the speaker.

Great guide, nice stops especially if you need to get a few souvenirs. If you want to snorkel be sure to bring your own gear. The description said that you could rent some, however there weren’t any to rent at the turtle sighting beach.

Tour was a great way to learn about the island. I think the tour guide (our was Dirk) was great, really livened up the tour. The day was LONG so expect that. The snorkeling seemed like an added bonus but not really (not a full experience). We didn’t do it, we enjoyed the beach. Definitely needed water shoes and your own mask or rent one.
