Good value, includes walking tour, gives enough time to explore (you need a good few hours, it's 100 acres)

The trip was great and Port Arthur itself was very interesting. However the amount of time there was a good 2 hours too long. A group of us were waiting around for the last 2+ hours for the pick up, which meant the day was not as enjoyable as it would otherwise have been.

Informative, eye-opening and interesting. An excellent day set stunning surroundings. So much geographical and historical context about the reasons for transportation of convicts, their organisation, work and treatment at Port Arthur. Zoe, our driver was excellent, giving a lot of relevant information during the journey about Tasmania; it's geography and history. Thank you. One point not mentioned in the information sent once ticlets are booked via the app. You need to actually check in at the Dock Head Building, Franklin Wharf, as there are a number of different tours going off from the wharf at a similar time. This was not clear from information sent through electronically with the tickets.

A very who is our pool guide for the poor Rob, moving and a very informative day. Our walking tour guide Rod really knows his stuff. He told us how we think it really was and did not hold back. Those times were extremely tough on all persons there. Thankyou Port Arthur. XXXX

We did the Port Arthur tour with Tasman island cruise. Our bus driver and guide, Phil was excellent. Funny, knowledgeable and very professional. On the boat, which was a 3 hour coast exploration, guides Ben(boat captain), and Katie were very friendly, highly knowledgeable, and again very professional. Every step of the tour, from the drive to morning tea, to the boat tour, provided lunch and the guided tour of Port Arthur were seamless. It was a full day, from 730am to 6pm and every minute was a pleasure. Well done. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic time! There is quiet a lot to see in Port Arthur so the drop off and pickup time is great for being able to see everything and have time for lunch. Would recommend packing some rain protection and jacket in case it rains. Liam our driver was amazing - he made the trip really comfortable, told us some interesting and fun facts throughout the drive about Port Arthur and Tasmania and made some local recommendations for food/activities. Would highly recommend!

An amazing place with so much history. So sad to see what humans are capable of. Harbour cruise a bit disappointing as we were not allowed into dead island unless we had paid for a separate tour. It’s also possibly too long. And could be shortened by an hour, as we did not get back until 6.30.

It's been too long time for the visit. At least 2 hours wasted. The driver /guide was very good at introducing scenery and stories.
