The Palace was built to be observed from any point of the Park, forest and lush gardens with more than five hundred tree species from the four corners of the world.

We had an absolutely wonderful day tour to Sintra. Our tour guide, Dias, was congenial, informative and met all our needs. We asked if we could add a visit to Quinta Regaleira to our itinerary and he made it happen! He also guided us to a lovely store known for filigree jewelry as well another known for hand painted pottery. Thank you for making our day to Sintra so special !

Luis was a polite and professional. However we cannot say we were satisfied with our tour. When we booked this private tour we contacted the vendor and requested to go FIRST TO Sintra and the Pena Palace (early in the morning to avoid the crowds.) The vendor replied that since this was a private tour we could change the order and go to Sintra first.
We received a confirmation that our request would be honored. However the total tour was in reverse with Sintra the last stop and not what we had requested. We went to the Palace at noon which was very crowded.The company needs to allow for the steep hike up to the palace from the parking area.
We were only given an hour at the Moorish Castle, despite the itinerary stating we would be afforded two hours at this site.
Our stop in the village of Sintra was to be two hours. But Luis gave us just a half hour. He had said the National Palace would take a half hour so we went there to visit. It took more than the half hour he allotted. It actually took us an hour with us quickly running through the rooms. We never had time for lunch or to walk about the Sintra village. Sintra was the main reason we booked this tour. We were highly disappointed. The first half of the day was not important to us, and the end of the day should have been reserved for the shorter visits. Due to the late time of day, Luis sped back to our hotel. The company should have given Luis the correct order of our tour. This was a private tour, and our schedule should have been accommodated, not his own personal rush through the itinerary. Please note Luis was surprised at the lack of heavy traffic.
We are requesting to be compensated for this tour.

The tour was just what our family of three wanted - visiting amazing sites with no logistics on our part required. It was a perfect change of pace after a few days in Lisboa.
Goncalo Dias is a lovely, energetic young man who brings a personal touch to the experience. He arrived a few minutes early to pick us up, which was a great start. He is well versed in navigating the sites and communicating which removed all stress from us.
All along the way, he did an excellent job gauging our interest and enjoyment levels throughout the day.
As a proud local from Cascais, he was very open about sharing slices of life in the area and places special to him along our coastal drive after lunch.

We had a great tour of castle and surrounding area. Andrea was excellent and patient with our group. My wife is recovering from back injuries and was slowed some but he was attentive to our group. Took us to beautiful sights. Went out of his way to personalize the tour. One of the best tours we have done.
