What a great day! Sudu was very experienced and had worked in the park for many years. We went away from the other jeeps and saw all the animals in the park including leopards twice! Sudu really cares about the animals and ensured we and the animals were not in any danger throughout. Towards the end he noticed there was some plastic and he stopped to pick this up. Thank you Sudu for a great day :)

An incredible day with Sodu as our guide. Yala National Park is stunning and I would say don't hesitate to book if you're able to visit. We went for the day and it was well worth it even if a little tiring by the end of the day. Sodu was an amazing guide, funny and highly knowledgeable. He has 23 years' experience as a safari driver and that was evident when we compared him to how other drivers were interacting (or not!) with their very bored looking passengers. He knew exactly where to go to find wildlife. Leopards, elephants, boar, jackals etc. Feels we saw it all! Very lucky and such a memorable day.

3 seconds of the leopard only but not because of the lack of effort from our driver, Ish. Ish gave us 4 Paris Dakar rally, speeding through dirt roads to ensure we got the full experience. Thanks to his energy and endeavour we were able to see the leopard, even if it was for only 3 seconds. Ish is a great guide and we are very happy we had the safari with him. Passionate about nature, very friendly, amazing tour.

Amazing experience from start to end. Managed to see so many of the animals that Yala National Park has to offer, including the elusive Leopard. Delicious breakfast and lunch was provided. One of the best highlights of the day has to be our guide - Mr Sudu, who carried with him his 23 years of experience at Yala. A humble and knowledgeable man, always putting the welfare of the animals first. He never once crossed the boundary between man and animal and all whilst still providing us with the best views. He gave us an option on following his route or following other jeeps around the park. We obviously chose his route and placed our trust in him. And he promptly delivered. He even took time at the end of the visit to share his experiences and knowledge about the animals in Yala National Park and answered all our questions patiently. Thank you for this amazing experience!

We had the most amazing experience with Sudu and his driver! Sudu was friendly, informative, respectful and really fun whilst also speaking great English. We were are to see Leopards, Crocodiles, Elephants, Bears and many others! Thank you very much again Sudu!!

Would highly recommend booking this tour! We absolutely loved our experience. We had Sudu as our guide, he had great knowledge about the animals and a wealth of experience behind him. You could tell he really cared about the animals/ park as well as getting us a great experience. Really friendly and clear English so he could explain lots. The tour was really well organised, we managed to see lots of animals including Leopards!

We had an amazing day! My fiancé booked this safari for my 30th, and it was fantastic. She requested to have Sudu as our driver and guide for the day, and we were so happy! His experience in the park as a driver for the past 23 years and compassion for the animals made this an unforgettable experience. We chose to have Sudu takenus to the best spots he knew away from the other jeeps, meaning it wad usually just us or a few others (compared to most tours being crouwded with 20+ jeeps anytime they see anything). While he did tell us this doesn't guarantee spotting anything, it meant that every sighting was genuine and peaceful. We got to see many elephants, water buffalow, crocodiles, deer, many birds, while boar, and even saw a baby leopard! I would highly recommend Sudu and Janaka Safari tours to anyone else!

We had a whole day Safari with Sudu as a experienced (>20 years) driver. He explained everything perfectly and knew many facts about the animals. Beforehand he asked about our expectations so we could focus on that. He even Had the right instinct about the Leopard and we saw it right next to our car. The food that was prepared and offered was very good. We would definitely book this trip again.

We had a great time on the safari. We saw every animal we hoped to see, including Leopards, Elephants and crocodiles. Our tour guide Sudo was absolutely amazing and such a great guy! He really takes pride in his job which is really nice to see, as some tour guides are just there for the money and don’t care about the nature, but not with Sudo, he loves the animals and the landscape. He’s a very interesting guy who knows loads of information about all the animals and the park. Would recommend this tour to anyone especially with Sudo as he really made our day super special!

Amazing day! I booked a full day safari with Janaka Safari for my fiancé's 30th birthday, and it exceeded our expectations! After reading reviews I requested Sudu as our guide & driver. I am so glad I did because you could not ask for a better safari guide! Sudu is extremely passionate and knowledgeable. He has 23 years of experience doing safaris at Yala. The safety of the animals was top priority which we were relieved about, as so many other drivers were too worried about making sure the passengers got a good photo but at the expense of the animal. Sudu ensured we always had a great view of the animal but without endangering or stressing out the animals - this made the safari so much more enjoyable! On the way to Yala he even stopped to help a turtle cross the road! Sudu had so much knowledge to share on the animals and the national park. If you want to make sure you have the most experienced guide and not just end up with a driver, but actually get a guide and someone who has so much passion for the wildlife.. ask for Sudu!! He will give you two options, to either do what everyone does and get phonecalls and have 50 jeeps surrounding one stressed out animal, or the other option to go out on our own and see what Sudu can find for you. Do the second option! At most we had 5 to 8 jeeps but often less than that! Most of the safari we would have the road to ourselves. We got very lucky and saw one young leopard, so many elephants - including a large male with tusks and baby elephants! We also saw crocodiles, loads of beautiful birds, lizards, wild boar, deer, and buffalo. Thank you Sudu for an unforgettable day!!
