Stop At: Potamies, Potamies, Crete
Our first stop is the verdant one and one of the representative villages of Crete, Potamies. We will be guided to a traditional farm where we will see the milking of animals and local activities such as cheese making. There we will taste traditional products such as fresh cheese, olive oil & rakomelo!
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Aposelemis Dam, Chersonisos, Potamies, Crete 700 05 Greece
Next stop is the Aposelemis dam, the largest water supply project in Crete. The village of Sfendili is submerged in the waters of the dam with its impressive old houses fading on the surface of the water. Also a natural wetland with a variety of birds.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Gorge of Embasa-Virgin Mary, Hersonissos 700 05, Greece
Then we will start our ascent using dirt roads, we will pass through the gorge Of “Ebassas”. The view of the imposing mountains and the wild beauty of nature will reward you. At the short stop, the guide will collect various local herbs (oregano, thyme, sage) as the Cretans used to do.

Stop At: Windmills Of Lasithi Plateau, Lassithi Plateau, Tzermiado, Crete 841 00 Greece
After that, we'll make a stop at the longest windmill line in Crete, located at the entrance of Lasithi Plateau. Here, we'll have a panoramic photo opportunity and learn about the history of windmills in Crete!
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Cave of Zeus, Main Road, Plati, Crete 842 01 Greece
We proceed to the Lassithi Plateau, where the cave of the god Zeus is located. Whether you choose to visit it or simply relax with a walk or enjoy a coffee in one of the local cafeterias offering a panoramic view of the plateau.

Pass By: Lasithi Plateau, Greece
Tour the plateau of Lasithi through the gardens, meet the locals and explore the small villages!
Stop At: Ano Kera, Ano Kera, Crete
Immediately after we will enjoy delicious authentic food, baked in the wood oven in one of the best traditional taverns.

Stop At: Platanus Tree, Main Square, Krasi, Crete 700 05 Greece
The last stop will be in the traditional village of Krasi, reaching the village square, one will see the three huge planees and Vryses dominate. Among them stands the largest and perennial plane tree aged over than 2000 years.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Mochos, Mochos, Crete
Our journey culminates with a spectacular panoramic view stretching from Sissi to Analipsi. Don't miss the opportunity to capture stunning photos that encapsulate the scenic beauty of this unforgettable experience.

Giannis was an awesome guide with a great personality! We were able to see a lot of the countryside of Crete (farm to feed goats, off-roading trails up the mountain while in a vehicle with 4 wheel drive, a great lunch, and a steep hike up to the Cave of Zeus)! Highly recommend!!

Great tour guide, nice humor and interesting facts while driving. Went offroad for a while which was fun. Great stops with lots of things to do (cave, farm, eating, sightseeing). Definitely worth it!

We really enjoyed the experience! Our guide, Giannis was very informative, helpful and funny. He included our whole group including our awkward teens.
The trip was well organised, stress free and we felt as though we had seen some of real Cretan life. Highly recommend the trip and Safari Experts, we wish we had done another during our stay!

Jiannis was our driver and from the start when he picked us up, all the way through the tour to the end when he dropped us off he was great. Very friendly and very fun. The tour was also great and interesting but it’s the drivers that definitely make the trip!

Our tour guide was Papa Michael, and he was absolutely FANTASTIC! Very knowledgeable about the sites we visited and sites along the way. The views are beautiful, the Cave of Zeus is stunning and the food & wine were great. HIGHLY recommend this company (and papa Mike) for a Tour of Crete!

Enjoyed our trip Mikel was great and very informative, just dont let him sing. 😀 For my fellow vegetarians tbe food option waa literally a plate of vegetables. Although delicious depending on diet I would ask for other accommodations.
