Itinerary
This workshop is designed for beginners or enthusiasts with no previous experience with spray paint.
The main objective of the workshop is explained, which is to invent a graffiti name and paint it with a throwup 3D style. Materials and quantities are shown, consent is requested for taking pictures, and participants are encouraged to participate in a warm up stretch of their bodies and hands. Cans are shaken well, and a creative presentation is given, where the instructor mimics a giant signature with a can in the air.

Diego and the whole experience were amazing. It was 10 of us, ages 8 to 78 and EVERYONE loved it. We learned so much and had so much fun! I HIGHLY recommend this experience!

Great overall experience, our session was very informative and interactive. We first learned the basics of drawing using spray paint and by the end sprayed our own tag on a wall of the studio.

Went with friends to the group workshop on Fridays. It was a very informative lesson that lasted over two hours. We got to work with spray paint whilst the teacher gave us advice and tips.

Amazing workshop. Diego is super nice and patient. Our son is 8 years old they worked together for 2 hours. Terrific experience. The gallery and artist studios are also worth checking out.

We were really looking forward to learning about street art in Bogotá as we had spent a month in Colombia and street art is everywhere. Capital Graffiti Tours offered both a walking tour and a workshop so we could get the full experience. This ended up being a great choice and one of our most memorable experience in Colombia!
We had a great experience with Carlos on graffiti walking tour. He was knowledgeable and a great storyteller. Even though it started to rain he made sure that we stayed covered and that we didn’t miss any of the art on the tour. He answered all our questions and by the time we left we could recognize artist styles and my children had a better understanding of the history of graffiti (it was awesome to see our kids pointing out artists like StinkFish and Erre murals on the way to the airport).
After the class it was a quick walk to the workshop location and Natalia, was there to meet us. She was great with our kids (it is not easy to put a spray paint can in the hands of a 9 and 11 year old and stay smiling) and was always positive and encouraging. She started us on markers and creating tags and eventually we moved on to a group/family piece that represented our cat (the kids idea). We left appreciating how much talent and practice goes into using the medium of spray paint. Even my husband, who is not really into art, raves about how the whole day was a great learning experience and fun.
Thanks to Diego for also organizing all of this. He was on point with communication.
Thank you to the whole Capital Grafitti Tour team. This is definitely not to be missed when in Bogotá.

Great workshop guided by Diego! We learned a lot about the technique for creating a graffiti in a methodological style. In the end we ended up creating our own graffiti 😎

We had a great time doing the walking tour of the street art followed by the graffiti workshop for our kids who were ages 14, 13, 11, 10 and 7. Jay was our guide and led the workshop. He was great with the kids and spoke perfect English. We highly recommend this for a morning or afternoon excursion

Muy bueno. The trip was wonderful, from showing the agriculture to the history of the people of colombia from the coast to the inner city. The art and vision is immeasurable.
